Shane Taylor (born 13 March 1974) is an English television and screen actor born in Dover, Kent, England. He is perhaps best known for his portrayal of medic Eugene 'Doc' Roe in the HBO/BBC World War II miniseries Band of Brothers.
Biographie
Taylor attended the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London and received the Cameron Mackintosh Scholarship Award.
He has appeared in episodes of TV series such as Where the Heart Is and Dangerfield.
He voices the character "Goh" in the 2006 video game Shinobido: Way of the Ninja. In 2009 he appeared in the BBC adaptation of John Wyndham's The Day of the Triffids with Brian Cox and Vanessa Redgrave, as well as in the 2009 film Bomber. In 2010 Taylor appeared alongside Danny Dyer in the British horror film Devil's Playground.
Shane Taylor played the regular role of Craig Hanson in the Sky 1 series, Strike Back: Vengeance, in 2012.
In 2013 Shane can be seen on the BBC television series Quirke as Andy Stafford, a 50s crime noir, starring Gabriel Byrne and Michael Gambon. And as Miklos Horthy Jnr in the WWII feature film, Walking With The Enemy, starring Jonas Armstrong, William Hope and Sir Ben Kingsley.
He is married to Ashley McKinney, and they have two children.
