Skip E. Lowe est un Acteur Américain né le 6 juin 1929
Sammy Labella (June 6, 1929 – September 22, 2014), better known by his stage name Skip E. Lowe, was an American talk show host and actor. He hosted Skip E. Lowe Looks at Hollywood which debuted in 1978, a weekly talk show for public access cable television that aired in Los Angeles and New York. He appeared in the films Black Shampoo, The World's Greatest Lover, Cameron's Closet and A-List. Martin Short cited him as the inspiration for his character Jiminy Glick.
It is estimated Lowe conducted some 6,000 cable television interviews from 1978 to 2014. One of his final interviews was with Craig Calman, author of "100 Years of Brodies With Hal Roach."
He died on September 22, 2014, in Los Angeles, from emphysema at the age of 85.

Dans les années 1920. Rudy Hickman (Gene Wilder) est renvoyé de la boulangerie où il travaillait car il a des tics : il tire la langue aux clients, il inverse ses mots et a des crises de laryngite, tout cela dû à la nervosité. Rudy décide alors de partir pour Los Angeles. En effet, Mr Zitz (Dom DeLuise), le directeur de la "Rainbow Studio" à Los Angeles, afin de faire concurrence à la Paramount (avec Rudolph Valentino), décide de faire un concours : le concours du plus grand séducteur du monde. Rudy se rend donc dans cette grande ville avec sa femme, Annie (Carol Kane). John Daniels plays Jonathan Knight, the owner of "Mr. Jonathan's", the most successful hair salon for women on the Sunset Strip. His reputation as a lover has become so awesome that he is sought after almost as much in that capacity as he is for his experience as a hair stylist. Everything is cool for Jonathan until he messes with the mob in an effort to protect his young attractive receptionist, played by Tanya Boyd (Celeste in Days of Our Lives), from her former boss. Action explodes when the "loving" machine becomes the "killing" machine. Jonathan, chainsaw in hand, gets down to the get down on the vicious mob gang that wrecked his shop and kidnapped his woman.
