Ajouter à une liste de filmsHappy is a 2006 Indian romance film directed by A. Karunakaran. The film stars Allu Arjun, Genelia D'Souza and Manoj Bajpai in lead roles; music was scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film was produced by Allu Aravind and released on 27 January 2006.
Upon release, the film was dubbed into Malayalam and released with the title Happy be Happy. The Telugu version was moderately successful at the box office whereas the Malayalam version was a smash hit collecting ₹ 4.22 lakhs in its opening week at Ernakulam. The film was remade in Bengali under the title Bolo Na Tumi Amar starring Dev and Koel Mallick and in Oriya under the title Loafer starring Babushaan and Archita Sahu.

Satyam (Sumanth) is an aspiring lyric writer who has a knack for inadvertently getting misunderstood by the two people he cares for the most—his father (Malladi Raghava) and his love interest Ankita (Genelia D'Souza). Because he and his father don't get along, Satyam leaves home and starts living with his friends. A sensitive man and a talented writer, Satyam ghost-writes for a popular film lyricist. He wants to prove himself as a lyricist before expressing his love for Ankita. In the meantime, a flamboyant classmate of Ankita proposes to her. The movie then witnesses a turn of events which involves Ankita`s father (Kota Srinivas Rao,) who happens to be a good friend of Satyam. How Satyam overcomes his obstacles and finally succeeds in courting Ankita forms the rest of the story.

Vedam revolves around 5 principal characters. Vivek Chakravarthy (Manoj Manchu) is an upcoming rock star in Bengaluru who hails from a family of decorated army officers. His mother wants him to follow the same path but he isn't interested. He is about to give his first live concert on New Year's Eve with his band-mates in Hyderabad. However, Vivek is late to catch the flight and so the band is forced to travel by road. After sometime, one of their tyres get deflated. Not having a spare, the other friends go to get the tyre inflated leaving Vivek and Lasya (Lekha Washington) alone. Meanwhile, they are attacked by a Hindu racist group. However, they manage to get out of the mess with the help of a Sikh truck driver (who incidentally gets involved in an earlier altercation with Vivek). The band successfully reaches Hyderabad. However they suffer a minor accident there which involves a mother in labour. So Vivek and Lasya take her to a hospital nearby.

Corrupt Central Minister (Rao Ramesh), is facing accusations over possessing black money of one hundred thousand crore, and money laundering it into Europe, through his un-suspecting daughter, Akanksha (Catherine Tresa), a psychology student who goes to Barcelona to pursue higher education. The movie begins with Raghupathi (Nassar) being introduced as the eldest of his three brothers - the other two being Raghava (Tanikella Bharani) and Rajaram (Vajja Venkata Giridhar) and sister Swarajyam (Rajitha) and her husband (Chandramohan) with Chandu (Ram) as the only son of Raghava and sole inheritor of the property of 'R S Brothers'. Chandu plans the elopement of his cousin Swapna (Tamannaah) with her boyfriend (Navdeep) due to which he is ousted from the house and is isolated from his family by Raghupathi. However, Chandu tries to re-establish links with his family members, but to no avail. Meanwhile, on the last day of his college, Chandu and his friends meet their friend "Google" Gopi (Ravi Varma) who is depressed because his girlfriend is getting married to someone else. Chandu decides to stop the marriage and marry off her to Gopi. However, they kidnap Pooja (Genelia D'Souza) instead of Gopi's girlfriend due to a mistaken identity. After being chased by some hooligans - who are after Pooja - they escape with the exception of Chandu and Pooja who end up in forest. Chandu falls for Pooja who also reciprocates her feelings.
