Synopsis
Sethumadhavan, is left alone following the death of his wife and the migration of his only son and his family to a foreign nation. With nothing much to do, the old man takes a fifteen-hour drive to an old bungalow in the high ranges where he had spent his childhood and adolescent times, studying in the British school nearby. While walking through the nostalgic steps, ignoring the hardships of his age, Sethumadhavan also memorizes Paru, his schoolmate with whom he had spent some important stages of his life.Acteurs

Sunil (Kunchacko Boban) meets Hema (Shalini) while on a bus trip. They quarrel while on the bus, to humorous results, but part upon reaching their destination. Sunil goes to meet Swaminathan (Jagadeesh), who organises a job for Sunil as a photographer. For his first job, his boss tells him to find a model. Sunil spots Hema at his office, and as she is a part-time model, he takes pictures of her, and they get to talking in the meantime. Sunil presents the photos to his boss and Hema is chosen as the model.

Anjooran (N. N. Pillai), and his four sons Balaraman (Thilakan), Swaminathan (Innocent), Premachandran (Bheeman Raghu) and Ramabhadran (Mukesh) are in severe enmity with the Anappara family. Anjooran's bitter hatred toward Anappara Achamma (Philomina) stems from events in the past, when the men of Anappara abducted Balaraman's fiancée and forced her to marry the eldest son of Achamma. The resulting series of events saw Anjooran's wife being killed, and him being sent to jail for avenging her by murdering Achamma's husband. Consequently, he develops a hatred toward all women, and their entry into his home is prohibited from then on.

The movie is about a young Keralite who returns to his home state of Kerala after 7 long years of toil in the Gulf.
