The title symbolizes everlasting love and is set in the backdrop of a music college. It tells the story of a student named Vasu (Rahul Madhav), who hails from a slum. The people in the slum sponsor his education. Vrindha (Richa Panai) comes from a rich family and she falls in love with Vasu. Newcomers Ramesh Raveendran, Niji Mary, Pradeep Chandran and Jyothi Chatterji also play important roles in the film. The story takes a dramatic turn when a girl goes missing from the college hostel. The clues to her whereabouts emerge when various students narrate their versions of the events. Police find that a girl took obscene pictures of vrinda.

Film begins when Jinn (Sreenath Bhasi) narrates about a village and few of the village guys such as Ahmed (Unni Mukundan), a web journalist and passionate football player - who accidentally saw a girl (Chandini Sreedharan) in a film festival held at Kozhikode and become lonely thinking about her. Things change when Shadiya (Chandini Sreedharan) joins his college for a project and Teacher Ali (Santhosh Keezhztoor) wants Ahmed to guide Shadiya about the lectures and college campus. Two of them fall in love and later decides to marry secretly. Being his best friend Ahmed tells Faizal (Aju Varghese) about his affair and their marriage. Faizal tells this matter to Ajmal (Saiju Kurup), Ahmed's brother on the day where Shadiya and Ahmed left the town for marriage. Ajmal along with Faizal and few of their friends went in search for Ahmed and Shadiya. Film portrays the remaining incidents on this day.

With the happening of a crime the movie has opened. Then comes an investigation officer Alexander (Sreenivasan), and an assistant (Vinay Forrt). Alexander unlike the assistant, is an officer who doesn't believe in torturing the accused people to prove crimes. He is touted as one of the toughest cops in the service to get deceived. Though he is a man who even fears to witness a live postmortem, he is intelligent enough to prove crimes. He proves this one too without much problems. Parallel to this, we are shown another crime. Harsha Vardhan (Dulquer Salmaan) is a man of mystery. He lives lonely in a big house, and teaches music to one kid. Apart from the role of a mucisian he has one more role to play in life – that of a sadist killer. The film takes a "U" turn post interval, which zoomed in to story that took place four year back. There we can see Harsha as an aspiring young musician. The struggles that he has to face in the initial years of his career are shown here. Not only in his career, but also in his life too he was seen struggling to maintain his relationship with the lover. Then his wife is murdered and how he plans to set revenge on the one who murdered his wife.
