Astra is a 2012 Bengali film produced by Amit Agarwal and directed by Tathagata Bhattacherjee. This is an action film which revolves around the love story of a gangster. In this film, DaVinci Resolve — the latest colour grading software was used for the first time in an eastern India film.
Synopsis
Astra is a tale of a gangster who becomes a victim of love. Baban is a dreaded sharp shooter working for an underworld don. For him… killing is as easy as breathing. But in an unprecedented twist of fate a woman enters his life. Koena…a journalist by profession is the one who gives Baban the jolt of his life as he falls head over heels for her. Love blossoms….and dreams are nurtured. Destiny however wills otherwise. Koena unaware of Baban’s identity all this while becomes an eye witness to one of his brutal contract killings. Blood spills in their path of love. Baban convinces Koena that he was not a gangster by birth but due to unavoidable circumstances…. Koena agrees and asks him to surrender to law. Baban is trapped…..if he were to leave his gang….he would be eliminated…..if he carried on he would lose the one he loved. It is up to Baban now to survive…..whether with the weapon of blood and gore or with the weapon of love and peace.Acteurs

Surja (Jeet) is a sportsman. He loves to run and win championships in Kolkata. Once on a championship tour, he goes to Shiliguri. There he runs into an influential gang leader Indrajit (Subrat Dutta) who forcefully tries to make Sumi (Barsha Priyadarshini) his wife. After some struggle and fights, Surja is able to escape from Shiliguri with Sumi. After coming to his home in Kolkata, Surja hides Sumi from his family members. He attempts to arrange for Sumi's departure to the US where her relatives reside. Indrajit and his goons arrive in Kolkata in search of Sumi. They use their political and social influence to the local police who locks up Surja. Eventually, Surja makes the police officer understand that he loves Sumi and he lets him go since the police officer is an old friend of Surja's father (Deepankar De). Surja arrives to get Sumi back from Indrajit's house. Meanwhile, Indrajit's goons go to Surja's home and kidnap Surja's sister. Surja eventually fights after his father gives him permission to fight for good cause. Indrajit dies by his mother during the fight coincidentally.

Un ennemi du peuple est une adaptation de la pièce d'Ibsen du même nom. Le docteur Ashoke Gupta (Soumitra Chatterjee) s’aperçoit que les cas de jaunisse sont en augmentation dans sa ville de Chandipur. Il fait faire des analyses, qui montrent que la maladie se répand par l’eau bénite distribuée dans le temple de la ville. Or le temple fait venir de nombreux pèlerins à Chandipur et est au cœur de l’économie de la ville. Le fondateur du temple ne veut pas admettre que de l’eau sacrée puisse contenir des bactéries dangereuses. Lorsque le docteur Gupta décide de publier ses découvertes dans le journal local, le maire de la ville, qui n’est autre que son propre frère, s'y oppose puis cherche à le discréditer en mettant en avant le fait qu’il n’est pas un hindou pratiquant.

It is a romantic love story. Payel was the daughter of Pratap Choudhury who was an industrialist. Pratap was a boxing champion during his college days. He arranged his daughter's marriage with Viky who was a supervisor of his office. But Payel did not like Viky's behaviour. On the other hand, Rahul become an agriculturist, he was also an industrialist. But Rahul did not like to live with his father, so he lived with his friend Aziz and had his own agriculture farm. One day in the way to town Rahul and his friends saw some hooligans were trying to physically torture a girl. Rahul rescued the girl . From there they become enemies. After some days when Payel was going to a picnic, Rahul was returning from his farmhouse, Payel's car hit him and he fell beside the road and Payel went away. For that behaviour, Payel destroyed the farm house and killed many animals. After watching that Rahul forced Payel to rebuild the farm. So Payel was detained by Rahul in his farm. In the night she tried to escape but fell among some hooligans in the forest. But Rahul rescued her again. After that she fell in love . They loved each other. Pratap did not agree to their love. So he sent his daughter to his sister's house. Unfortunately there lived Rahul's uncle a Major. After knowing their love Major and Pratap's sister sent them to marry. On the other hand Viky was trying to marry Payel for Pratap's property, so he and his friends reached Rahul's father's house and at the end he was arrested by police. Rahul got wounded to save Pratap Choudhury. Finally Pratap agreed to marry his daughter with Rahul. Finally the romantic love story happily ended.
