Synopsis
Palakattu Madhavan (Vivek) is a lazy and irresponsible man. Embarrassed that his wife Lakshmi (Sonia Agarwal) earns more than he, he quits his own job out of spite. He then adopts the old woman Pattu Maami (Sheela) as a surrogate mother because she offers to pay cash for the opportunity.Acteurs

In 2000, George (Nivin Pauly), a 16-year-old pre-degree student, develops an unrequited love for Mary (Anupama Parameshwaran), the so-called "prettiest girl" in the region of Aluva. George and his friends Shambu (Shabareesh Varma) and Koya (Krishna Shankar) follow Mary and her companion Celine (Eva Prakash) around every day. George decides that he wants to propose to Mary, and Shambu and Koya accompany him to do so. However, George does not propose quickly enough, and is heartbroken to learn that Mary is in relationship with a different boy, also named George. The final scene of this stage ends in 2002 where George, Shambu and Koya feel depressed realising that they have failed in their pre-degree final examination.

Sakthi (Karthik) is a spoiled rich child, with his mother (Sachu) and grandfather (Kaka Radhakrishnan) constantly doting on him with cash and gifts. His father (Vinu Chakravarthy) is worried that he has such a good-for-nothing son. Sakthi falls head over heels in love with Indhu (Rambha). Sakthivel’s uncle, Kundalakesi (Goundamani), aids Sakthi in declaring his love to Indhu. Sakthi, (who wrongly believes that he is being forced into an arranged marriage) does not realize that Indhu is indeed Jayaganesh’s daughter and gets his cousin Mathi (Vivek) and Kundalakesi to misbehave and create a fight during the engagement. Eventually the truth is revealed Indhu is furious. Sakthi sees a girl called Latha (Indhu) committing suicide. Inspector (Madhan Bob) wrongly thinks they are a married couple and tries to marry them to each other but Sakthi escapes. Sakthi mistakenly hurts another girl (Vinodhini) whose father (S. S. Chandran) also thinks him her husband. Sakthi's cousin, Mathi, is a henpecked husband to a rich and arrogant wife (Anju) and lies to her that Vichithra is Sakthi's husband. At last, Sakthi is going to marry Indhu, but people who areknown to the three girls come and misbehave. The three girls explain the situation and make them understand what happened. Sakthi and Indhu get married.

The movie opens in an engineering college in Ooty with a narration of the characters. Rajiv Samuel (Abbas) is a computer engineering student and is one of the top students in the college, whereas Rajesh (R. Madhavan) is a mechanical engineering student who is the bad guy of the college. A mutual problem between the two groups led by both Samuel and Rajesh puts both Sam and Rajesh at loggerheads and they pull pranks on each other to get the other in trouble. It culminates into a fist fight but is soon broken up their friends. In the fight, Rajesh punches Sam in the face, which is against the rule, and Sam promises to return the favor in future. They graduate from the college soon and promise to not see each other ever again. Sam goes abroad for job, while Rajesh stays back in India saying that he does not want to leave his motherland.

Thrown out of the house by the furious family, the men open a fast-food eatery (what else?) to prove a point to their unforgiving wives. How the matter is resolved forms the rest of the story.
