The movie was made in 1985, produced by C. Ashwini Dutt and K. Raghavendra Rao under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies. The movie was a big hit in the box office of Tollywood with 5 musical hits, including a solo title song. Master Arjun acted as child character of Jamadagni. Krishna's aggressive dialogue “Aggipetti Vunda?” (You have a match box?) became so popular in 1980s.
Synopsis
Jagannadharao, a leading lawyer marries Janaki and fathers to a son (Master Arjun). Indrasena Varma and his friend Rudrayya addicts Jagannadharao to drinking. According to a plan, they accuse Janaki as fallen woman, and try to get rid off her along with child, by provoking the people stoning her to death, when Jagannadharao falls unconscious owing to heavy drinking. In the temple of Shiva, Janaki names her son as Jamadagni (Krishna). She commits suicide whilst Young Jamadagni lights the lamp at Shivlinga. Young Jamadagni takes his dead mother on a small wheel cart to a graveyard and there he performs cremation. Jaggayya marries Parvatamma for the second time and fathers to a son named Chandram (Krishna) and a daughter (Poornima). Parvatamma comes to know about the treachery and threatens Indrasena Varma and Rudrayya that she calls the police. Nevertheless She loses her eyesight when pushed by Indrasena Varma and Rudrayya, whilst Jagannadharao is stroked by hand paralysis. Indrasena Varma and Rudrayya grabs the property of Jagannadharao. Paralyzed Jagannadharao and his family leaves the riches.Acteurs

In Kondaveedu, there is an old Gadwal fort and every one in that village believes that there is a hidden treasure inside. Rao Gopal Rao, a rich man in the village, tries every possible way to explore that treasure. An archeological assistant, Raja (Chiranjeevi), comes to this village in disguise as an ordinary youth in search of a job. He unearths the secret of this hidden treasure. Master Dharma Murti witnesses a murder of a man at the hands of Sher Singh Bandookwala. But Sher Singh with his might, terror and money sets free. In revenge he places Dharam Murti in an awkward position with a lady teacher, Menaka. Dharam Murti ashamed of this vacates his village and abandons his wife & children. His wife Savitri helps her son Ravi (Krishna) become an engineer who then resolves to fight against Bandookwala and get his father's spoilt reputation back. Bandookwala has terrorised all the villagers. His daughter Rekha (Jaya Prada) follows his footsteps and grows into an insensitive woman who tries to harass people. Ravi's sister Padma has to marry munimji's son Shakti as she is pregnant with his child. After marriage, Shakti and Bandookwala together start harassing Padma. Rekha falls in love with Ravi and decides to play same trick against the Bandookwala by pretending to be pregnant with Ravi's child. Ravi finds his father as a worker on a dam construction site. Ravi then presents Bandookwala guilty before the panchayat but is freed by Dharam Murti on condition that he should show affection to the poor and treat them well. Finally Bandookwala becomes a good man and then Ravi marries Rekha.

Nagabhushanam and his son Nagaraju (Satyanarayana) runs smuggling and Illegal transport of forest produce in the Forest. Ramu (NTR) opposes and raises the villagers to fight against him. Nagabhushanam takes the help of Jaggu (Sridhar) to sent Ramu away from the forest. Later half reveals that Ramu was in fact a Forest officer in secret mission to investigate the case of Forest affairs. The story finally leads to the arrest of criminals.
