Chinnari Muddula Papa (English: Cute Lovely Baby) is a 1990 Telugu drama film produced by Vadde Ramesh on Nallini Cini Creations banner. It was directed by Vaasi Reddy. The film starred Jagapathi Babu, and Kaveri in the lead roles. The music was composed by S. P. Kodandapani Eeswar. The film has been remade as Hindi movie Heyy Babyy 2007.

Synopsis

Anand (Jagapathi Babu), Sudhakar (Sudhakar), and Siva (Sivaji Raja) are three single guys who share an apartment. They are fun loving young guys who just want to chase tail. They never take up any responsibilities and they like it. One day a baby, Maya (Baby Sowjanya) is found right outside their door. They do not know who left the infant there or why. At first they try to get rid of the baby, but their conscience takes over and slowly with time, they start to care for the baby. How this little baby changes the lives of these three unassuming men forms the crux of the story.

Suhani (Priyamani) is very sensitive and has low self-esteem. She is troubled by everything and everyone but keeps her frustrations bottled up. One day, she is witness to an accident and she saves Krishna Prasad (Tanikella Bharani). When he recovers, he finds out that Suhani noticed his revolver, which he lets her borrow as a "favor" for saving his life. He tells her to vent her anger on anyone she hates and he will clean up the mess she makes. Suhani sets out with the intention of killing her two-faced best friend Anita (Keerti Chawla), but the attempt fails. She then moves on to her boyfriend Sandeep (Jagapati Babu), but that too ends in failure. Finally, she gathers information on a certain person who is the root-cause of all the pain in her life and decides to kill him. The rest of the movie is about finding out who that person is and why Suhani wants to kill him.

Subramanyam/Subbu (Jagapathi Babu) is a simpleton who works as a manager in a firm, marries a no-nonsense lady Durga (Roja). They decide to adopt Subbu's dead sister's two sons and brings them home after that Durga gives birth to twins. The children are imps who make his life miserable with their mischief. Things worsen for Subbu because he has vacated too many houses due to naughty children. Sriram (Venkatesh) and Seeta (Soundarya) have no children even after three years of marriage life. Sriram comes to know through the doctor that his wife cannot bear children, he is not willing to hurt his wife's feelings, he takes the blame on himself. Sriram's father (Kota Srinivasa Rao) is very fond of children so he always blackmails Sriram to make the second marriage. While on a business tour to Nepal, he marries a Nepali girl Manisha (Vineetha) under some unavoidable circumstances. When he comes to know that she is carrying his child, Sriram arranges for her stay at his friend Giri's (Brahmanandam) house. Manisha delivers a boy and Sriram adopts him with his wife's consent who is not aware of the truth. After some years Sriram's father comes to know truth through Giri, he wants Sriram to get back Manisha and make a clean of things to Seeta. But Sriram who is apprehensive of his Seeta's reaction begs his father to keep the whole affair under wraps and he brings Manisha as a cook to his house. The story takes a turn to climax when Seeta is not happy with the goings on in the kitchen, she tries to get Manisha married off to someone else, then Sriram reveals the secret, Seeta also understands situations and circumstances and she happily welcomes Manisha into their lives. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note of two wives live happily with one husband.

Venkata Ramana (Daggubati Venkatesh) a.k.a Venky is a ventriloquist. An astrologer (M. S. Narayana) predicts that if he does not get married in one year, he will be a single man forever. He goes to Paris to show his talent to the company of Paris Prasad (Brahmanandam). Paris Prasad fools everyone and he was given a loan from a bank. But he has not repaid the loan to the bank. Venky befriends Sheikh Raj (Ali). Venky also falls in love with Pooja (Trisha Krishnan), the niece of Paris Prasad. Pooja has no feelings for Venky, but Paris Prasad tells Venky that Pooja too loves him and fools him. Slowly Pooja and Venky become friends. Pooja goes back to India and finds that her marriage has been arranged with Bhadrappa (Subbaraju), the son of her uncle, Changala Rayudu (Mukesh Rishi). Venky asks Paris Prasad for help. Prasad comes with Venky to save Pooja by telling him that Pooja loves him and wants to break the marriage. But Pooja loves an NRI named Rahul. There Venky introduces himself to everyone as Pranit and makes fools of them by giving the partnership of his factory's benefit. One day when Venky with Prasad and Pooja runs away, Bhaddrapa's uncle (Jaya Prakash Reddy) comes to know everything. He tells everyone this. Then Venky goes to his village along with Prasad, Rahul and Pooja. He introduces his family, his uncles, Narayana (Chandra Mohan) and Malesh Yadav (Kota Srinivasa Rao). After that Bhaddrapa's grandfather hatches a plan in which Venky will come with Pooja and they will kill him. But Venky ends up coming with his full family, so they could not kill him. But after coming here, Venky comes to know that Pooja loves Rahul. When Pooja's uncle attacks them, Venky saves everybody. Pooja realizes she loves Venky. Paris Prasad also realizes his mistake and gets Venky and Pooja married. After the marriage, Prasad asks Venky to give him money with which he can repay the bank loan. But Venky laughs after hearing this.
