Synopsis

Rishi (Rishi Kapoor), the son of legendary Raj Kapoor, decides to try his hand at politics, and to garner support, re-locates to his birth village, Hadbahedi. The village is located in an isolated area where most trains do not stop, and electricity is only available for 6 hours a day. He decides to shoot a film 'Khooni Khazana' with Producer/Director, Malkani. Once there, he secretly makes a deal to lend his name to an alcoholic beverage, in exchange for a plot of land in nearby Triphala, and one Crore Rupees, while pledging to the naive villagers that he has no intention to re-locating anywhere. Misled villagers believe Hadbahedi will get popular and modernized, and decide to assist him with all their might. Things escalate into chaos, and anger, when they find out that their valuables are being stolen, and the women being molested, by the film crew, while the police accuse them of harboring a terrorist who was responsible for the 13 December 2001, attack on the Indian Parliament.

Sunil Arora and his wife Malti with their son Avi lead a typical middleclass life in Mumbai metro. Having completed 10 years of marriage, Sunil feels he is getting old and is not able to satisfy his wife's advances in bedroom. Sammy (Saurabh Shukla) and Vinay (Vinay Pathak) are Sunil's colleagues in his office and they share their domestic issues as a pastime. L'histoire se base sur la famille Kapoor. Daboo et Chintu sont frères et se détestent l'un et l'autre, leurs femmes et leurs filles se détestent aussi. Jai cherche à se venger et demande à Jolly, le fils de JD, s'il voudrait accepter de se marier avec la fille de Chintu puis de rompre lors du mariage, mais il refuse car il a déjà une petite amie. Jolly pense alors à Max, un ami de la fac et connu pour être un grand voleur qui se fera passer pour le fils de JD. Mais ils se trompent de maison et vont chez Dabboo. Jai ne sait plus quoi faire et cherche toujours à se venger, Jolly suggère alors Sunny, un autre ami de la fac, mais ils savent que Max et ce dernier sont ennemis depuis leur dispute à la fac et que les maisons de Dabboo et de Chintu sont côte à côte. Alors pour éviter qu'ils ne se rencontrent, Jolly reste avec Sunny et Jai avec Max. Mais lorsque les 2 familles se retrouvent chez JD, les choses se dégénèrent.

L’histoire commence par une proposition tordue : Ranbeer, un riche homme d’affaire (Saif Ali Khan), percute une voiture et en tue les occupants, parents de quatre enfants. Le juge, plutôt que de le mettre en prison, le condamne à s’occuper des orphelins jusqu’à leur majorité (mais comment peut-on imaginer une chose pareille !!!). Ranbeer est du genre solitaire, réfractaire à tout sentiment, ce qui ne l’empêche pas de culpabiliser à fond. Les bambins sont désespérés de devoir vivre avec l’assassin de leurs parents et débarquent dans sa vie et sa luxueuse maison avec la ferme intention de les venger. On les comprend.Heureusement, Dieu (Rishi Kapoor, excellent), entend les prières effarées de Ranbeer et des enfants, il leur envoie un ange gardien, Geeta (Rani Mukherjee).

A wealthy, but evil man named Zafar Khan (Kader Khan), has fallen in love with a girl named Salma (Waheeda Rahman) and wants to marry her, but she and her father do not let him. He also adopts an infant from an orphanage in Kanpur, a boy named Sunny (Rishi Kapoor), for Salma to raise on the advice of a psychiatrist. Meanwhile, Iqbal is reunited with his uncle, who has lost his wife and son in the flood. The uncle will raise Iqbal as his own, as they have no more family.
