It is directed by Manish Tiwary and produced by Prakash Jha.The movie got mixed reviews on its release and was successful in multiplex theaters in Delhi and some parts of Mumbai.
Synopsis
Dil Dosti Etc. explores the ambiguities of the youth years. The movie is about coming of age of Apurv (Imaad Shah), a rich, aimless and cynical 18-year-old young man, who has just entered college in Delhi. Juxtaposed against the aimlessness of Apurv is also the story of Sanjay Mishra (Shreyas Talpade), an ambitious Bihari student & politician with limited means. They represent two divergent world views—the liberal versus the conservative, the no-strings attached versus the committed, the elite versus the middle-class. Directionless and laidback, Apurv searches for meaning in life through amorous escapades with different girls, including a sex-worker Vaishali (Smriti Mishra) and a school girl Kintu (Ishita Sharma). Meanwhile Sanjay works single-mindedly to win the college Presidential elections, and yet catches the attention of a rich model Prerna (Nikita Anand). Dil Dosti Etc. is woven together with an ensemble of other characters, who have their own stories to tell. Set against all these is a silly wager that the two protagonists engage in. Sanjay will win the elections and Apurv will manage to have sex with three women in a day. As the film moves towards a volatile climax, you get to test the film’s premise, when you’re young, you believe the possibilities are endless.Acteurs

Tej Dhanraj perdit sa mère à l’âge de 8 ans, marqué par ce drame, il fut toujours entouré par les plus belles femmes du monde. Allergique à l’idée du mariage et collectionnant les conquêtes, ce playboy, finit malgré tout par se marier à une jeune femme innocente et ravissante : Samarpreet. Après son mariage et sans attendre, Tej délaisse sa femme et retourne à ses loisirs favoris dans les îles, il rompt tout contact avec elle, mais afin que le mariage garde toute validité il fait parvenir régulièrement à la famille de Samarpreet de grosses sommes d’argent. Ailleurs sur l’île, Pawan (Shah Rukh Khan), homme d’affaires accompli, s’est construit un empire qui s’étend sur trois continents, âgé de 38 ans, il est cultivé, énigmatique et se présente comme le roi des Caraïbes. Il est amoureux fou de la sublime Shimmer (Sushmita Sen), mannequin de renommée mondiale qui est considérée comme le diamant brut de l’île et qui se trouve être une amie de Tej. La ravissante Samarpreet décide de faire le voyage du Penjab aux Caraïbes pour venir chercher son mari et son arrivée risque de tout chambouler sur la petite île.

The film is a copy of the Hollywood movie Tomcats – The film is about three bachelors Aarav (Shreyas Talpade), Nikhil (Muzamil Ibrahim) and Rajveer (Rajeev Khandelwal) who along with eleven other college mates sign a contract which has two clauses. The first clause says that all of them have to purchase certain number of Reliance shares, and the second rule explains all the shares will go to the man who will remain unmarried till the end. Slowly and steadily people start to break away from the rule and only Nikhil, Rajveer and Aarav remain single. Nikhil is in love with his childhood friend Anjali (Tripta Prashar) and wants to settle down with her but the other two have no such plans, but they find the proceedings interesting after discovering Anjali's best friend Sneha (Mugdha Godse) at the wedding venue. Suddenly all their plans to remain unmarried till the end vanish and the two start trying o win Sneha's heart. Meanwhile one of Rajveer's friends gives him Rs 5 crore to keep but Rajveer being smart enough invests the money in the stock market, only to find that the company he invested in has crashed and a powerful business magnate (Paresh Rawal) is after his life. Rajveer plans to convince Aarav to get married to Sneha so that he can get all the Reliance shares and pay his due. His plans fail when Aarav manages to listen to a secret conversation.

Professor Anirudh (Nishikant Kamath) strongly believes in science and for him things which don’t have scientific explanation do not exist. A room in his Medical Institution (the room with number 404) is rumoured to be haunted by the ghost of a student who previously stayed in that room and had committed suicide there, which he surely doesn’t believe. A rational student Abhimanyu (Rajvvir Aroraa) occupies that room and the real story starts. Abhimanyu experiences the unusual and now has to choose between what to believe and what not. Despite evidence suggesting a rational explanation to the physical events following up to the climax, the movie closes open-endedly, leaving a supernatural explanation equally likely.
