Neena Gupta (born 4 June 1959) is an Indian film and television actress and director-producer. She won the 1994 National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for Woh Chokri. She is a popular actress in Indian commercial cinema, but it is her work with art filmmakers of India, like Shyam Benegal that got her recognition as an actress of considerable repute. She did a guest appearance in the TV Series; Shrimaan Shrimati. She also hosted the Indian version of the television quiz show The Weakest Link, Kamzor Kadii Kaun.

Biographie
She had a relationship with former West Indian cricketer Vivian Richards in the 1980s, from which she has a daughter, Masaba Gupta, a fashion designer. She was also involved in relationships with Alok Nath and Sharang Dev. Devki Nandan Tripathi (director Rahul Aggarwal) is a simple, rustic man who tries his luck in the city of dreams, Mumbai. He gets himself employed at the Mausam Vibhaag, his only means to a lucrative and thriving future. The plot thickens and so do Devki’s circumstances, for he pursues something that he had never meant to. He finds himself doing everything except dedicating time to his vocation. In order to settle personal scores; two gang leaders, Jai Singh and Oberoi fight for many years in gang-wars. There enmity multiplies when Jai's younger brother, Suraj falls in love with Oberoi's sister, Sapna which forces Suraj and Sapna to elope. Jai then locates the duo and brings them back to try and convince Oberoi to get them marry albeit successful. Jai then decides to give up his criminal ways but Oberoi's consent to the couple's marriage comes to light when Jai is gun down by Oberoi's men which injures and makes him a patient in hospital. Suraj then raise to this occasion to put an end to the entire Oberoi's family and thus the blood shed continues.
