Rana is from Gadarwara dist.-Narsinghpur, Madhya Pradesh state. He spent his childhood in Gadarwara where he finished his primary school. He used to play the role of Ravana in the city Ramleela.He went to the National School of Drama, New Delhi and studied acting.

Udanchhoo is a con comedy feature film, which revolves around the lead protagonists Dev (Rajneesh Duggal) & Sonia (Sayesha Saigal), a couple residing in the city of dreams, Mumbai. Sonia's father, an NRI, Raj Singhania is a staunch believer of Baba G, a spiritual Guru who is known to lure his devotees into bhakti and thus, extract money from them. Mr. Raj too is persuaded to donate all his wealth in the name of Baba G. Sonia opposes her dad's idea and contemplates suicide. Baba G convinces Sonia, it is only 'Aam' mangoes her father intends to donate. Thus, in the name of 'Aam' a full blown heist begins as Baba G wants to secure his black money by rotation in financial markets. He appoints R.K, his right hand man to go about the task. R.K in turn, appoints Dev to do the needful, as he would easily pass off as innocent. Dev wins R.K's trust, Sonia's love and goes on to become Baba G's most trusted associate.

Ab Tak Chhappan 2 opens to encounter specialist Sadhu Agashe (Nana Patekar) proclaiming what he did was right. The film then goes into flashback, where we are shown what happened a few months back. L'histoire commence en pleine bagarre de rue à Bombay. Le président sportif Peter Braganza (Kiran Kumar ) exprime son désir de faire des combats de rue un sport légal et décide d'ouvrir une ligue intitulée Right 2 Fight (R2F). Pendant ce temps, en prison, Garson Fernandes, alias « Gary » (Jackie Shroff), un ancien alcoolique et ancien professionnel d'arts martiaux mixtes (MMA) en réhabilitation, est arrivé au terme de sa peine de prison et son fils cadet Monty (Sidharth Malhotra) vient le chercher. Monty devient tendu lorsque son père demande des nouvelles de son fils aîné David et l'emmène chez lui. Sur place, Gary agit comme protecteur de tous les biens de sa femme Maria, décédée il y a plusieurs années. David (Akshay Kumar), devenu professeur de physique, a une fille souffrant d'une maladie rénale. Incapable de trouver légalement l'argent pour la soigner, il participe à des combats de rue. Kalyan Sinha is a corrupt IPS officer who gets himself transferred to Hyderabad and misuses his power to gain monetary benefits in unorthodox methods. During this process, he also encourages a local MP named GK who has become a huge headache to Murali Krishna, the DGP of Hyderabad. Kalyan happens to be Murali's son who is angry on the latter as his supposed negligence killed his mother and just born sister, though Murali actually left his wife in the hospital to save several families in a riot. Unaware of this, Kalyan left Murali and joined an orphanage and became an IPS officer to seek revenge on his father. During his life at Hyderabad, Kalyan also meets two women - Mahathi, a journalist working for TV5 and Kavya, a deaf-mute philanthropist who works in a coffee shop. He loves Mahathi and expects her to reciprocate the same only to be rejected by her because of his corrupt nature. Kavya is killed by GK's brother Nani when she tries to save a techie from being assaulted sexually by him near HITEC City.
