Some of the stories have twisted ending and bring supernatural elements and have similarities with other supernatural series like Tales from the Crypt. The film was declared an above average grosser at the box office. The film is inspired from the Hollywood movie The Ten.

Six malfrats originaires d'Inde sont arrêtés par la police de Los Angeles après le braquage d'un camion pour être interrogés. Alors qu'ils sont en cellule, ils ont l'idée de s'associer pour braquer la banque American Services Bank, dont les clients sont en majorité des policiers, afin de se venger. Lucky (Anil Kapoor) is a small-time criminal, hoping to retire with his girlfriend Lara (Koena Mitra) after one last job. Suryaveer "Surya" Singh (Amitabh Bachchan) is a bitter man and ex-Army officer, hired by his friend Shekhar Verma (Arjun Rampal) to protect a little girl, Anamika R. Rathore (Rucha Vaidya), who resides in Bangkok, Thailand with her Non-resident Indian (NRI) family. He drinks alcohol frequently, and is not interested in befriending the girl. Eventually, she wins his heart and he helps her to prepare for a swim meet. One day Anamika gets kidnapped and Surya receives serious injuries in his attempt to prevent the kidnapping. Her father is not able to pay the sum to release his daughter. So Suryaveer uses all his skills to save the life of the child, only to find out about the conspiracy that is behind the little girl's kidnapping. Surya learns that Chang, Shekhar's lawyer, is behind some of this. The real mastermind behind this is Chang's brother. Surya holds Chang hostage, while Chang's brother holds Anamika hostage. When they come to exchange the people, Chang's brother reveals a great secret to Surya. Surya learns that Shekhar was all behind this. Surya kills Chang's brother's men. A great fight between Shekhar and Surya starts. Shekhar is killed, and Surya spends the rest of his life with Anamika and her mother. In the end, Anamika gets a new bodyguard and the film shows her during her swimming practice, with Surya and her new bodyguard 15 years later.

Police Inspector Veer Chauhan is an honest and diligent man, who lives in India with his wife, Naina, and a son, Sahil. While Veer likes to go by the book, his partner, Inspector Khan, is exactly the opposite, reckless, and trigger-happy. When Veer is told that his son requires a bone-marrow transplant, Veer does his best, but is unable to come up with any donor, and is told that Sahil may not live long. Veer finds out that the only bone-marrow transplant compatible with that of Sahil is that of jailed criminal, Balli. The only problem is Balli is not likely to even consider donating any organ of his body, as Veer was the one who had arrested him. A short while later, Balli appears to have a change of heart, agrees to be a donor, and is transported to the hospital, but escapes. Now with time running out, Veer must locate Balli - that is if he is not shot dead first by Khan.

Baba and Avinash are brothers who lives in a shanty house with their widowed mother, who makes a living as a housemaid. When a stalker attempts to rape their mother, Baba knives him to death, and the three, along with an orphan named Nawab, take shelter with an underworld don named Uncle. Baba would like Avinash to study and become a better person, and in order to do this he decides to make crime his career. When Avinash completes his studies and wants to enroll himself in the police academy, Baba helps him monetarily by accepting his first contract killing. Avinash does complete his training at the police academy and soon becomes a police inspector. One of his first assignments is to be apprehend and arrest Baba and Nawab - much to his shock, as he had never associated his very own brother of having any criminal background. Avinash must now decide to proceed on with apprehending Baba and Nawab, or quit from the police force.
