Born on 4 February 1961, Raj Zutshi is grandson to Dina Nath Zutshi, who was a radio & TV artiste. He made the transition from theatre to cinema in 1984 with the film Holi.He is Ex-Brother-In-Law of *Aamir Khan Indian film actor and step-father of Imran Khan.

Ab Tak Chhappan 2 opens to encounter specialist Sadhu Agashe (Nana Patekar) proclaiming what he did was right. The film then goes into flashback, where we are shown what happened a few months back. L'histoire commence en pleine bagarre de rue à Bombay. Le président sportif Peter Braganza (Kiran Kumar ) exprime son désir de faire des combats de rue un sport légal et décide d'ouvrir une ligue intitulée Right 2 Fight (R2F). Pendant ce temps, en prison, Garson Fernandes, alias « Gary » (Jackie Shroff), un ancien alcoolique et ancien professionnel d'arts martiaux mixtes (MMA) en réhabilitation, est arrivé au terme de sa peine de prison et son fils cadet Monty (Sidharth Malhotra) vient le chercher. Monty devient tendu lorsque son père demande des nouvelles de son fils aîné David et l'emmène chez lui. Sur place, Gary agit comme protecteur de tous les biens de sa femme Maria, décédée il y a plusieurs années. David (Akshay Kumar), devenu professeur de physique, a une fille souffrant d'une maladie rénale. Incapable de trouver légalement l'argent pour la soigner, il participe à des combats de rue. Cela inquiète cependant sa femme Jenny (Jacqueline Fernandez). Pendant ce temps, Gary, qui manque à sa femme Maria (Shefali Shah), commence à avoir des hallucinations à son sujet. Gary essaie alors de rencontrer David, mais ce dernier finit par se mettre en colère et jette Monty et Gary hors de chez lui.

Gangoobai (Sarita Joshi) is an elderly widowed maid servant in the small town of Matheran, working for an affluent family. Sridhar Ranjan, a social activist, has gone missing from Majuli, Assam. After almost 7 years, when as per law he is about to be officially declared dead, his old journalist friend Abhijit Shandilya (Sanjay Suri) goes in search of Sridhar from Mumbai to Majuli. In Majuli, Abhijit finds himself to be a stranger of sorts in a place that’s infested with terrorists and where both the police and the terrorists seem to be suspicious of him. He befriends with his local guide Sudakshina ( Bidita Bag). Sudakshina apparently also was the guide for Sridhar when he came to Majuli initially. She however seems to be living with her own fears and stops short of getting close to Abhijit whenever an occasion comes up. The rest of the story revoles around Abhijit trying solve the mystery behind the disappearance of Sridhar.
