Biographie
Kohli's father is a hotelier and mother is a corporate trainer. He did his schooling from Pune, Maharashtra in various schools of St. Stanislaus and The Bishop's School. He also joined a flying school to be a pilot, but did not continue. He also switched his education faculty from Science to Commerce and finally to Arts and studies Economics, Psychology and Literature.Kohli's uncle is filmmaker Shekhar Kapur.

Gangoobai (Sarita Joshi) is an elderly widowed maid servant in the small town of Matheran, working for an affluent family. She one day sees the daughter of the family wearing a Gara sari bought from a very posh store, Ardra. The sari mesmerizes her; she cannot sleep that night. Navin makes a scene in the overcrowded waiting room of heaven and demands that he be returned to earth, and to his loved ones. But by this time Navin's body back on earth has already been destroyed. So the angel Vijay arranges for Navin's soul to return to earth into Sudeep's body. This film is about how Navin (Purab Kohli) returns to earth and has to woo his beloved fiancée Nandini all over again ... now trapped in the body of "Fatso" Sudeep (Ranvir Shorey).

Nikhil Kapoor (Sanjay Suri) decides to return from the USA to Mumbai. When he arrives, he decides to chill out at a nightclub.
