La mère de Sandy Ricks l'envoie passer l'été chez son oncle Porter dans une ville balnéaire de Coral Key. After several weeks of haunting phone calls and strange happenings, Cincinnati, Ohio resident Jeff Hannon (Wilk) drives to Beuford, Texas to inform the local authorities-Sheriff Delaney (Asner) and Deputy Lance (Keenan)-that he has information on the 25-year-old unsolved murder of Priscilla Booth-a girl whose body was never found. At first, Delaney thinks Jeff is crazy, and doesn't take him seriously, but strange phone calls made to Hannon's cell phone, from "Priscilla," as well as it being apparent that Hannon is shaken up, convince Delaney to hear Jeff out. Delaney takes Hannon to lunch at Maggie's restaurant, where Jeff finishes his story, and the Sheriff agrees to put his mind at ease by taking him to where the phone calls told him the body would be, "The Tree in the Flats." They arrive at the scene, where Jeff starts digging, where he finds the remains. Sheriff Delaney then shoots Jeff and kills him, implying that Delaney is the one who killed Priscilla, and hid her body.

Dans la forêt de FernGully, Crysta une petite fée, apprend la magie des plantes et l'histoire de son peuple. L'esprit Magie-lune protège l'équilibre du clan des fées. Crysta décide de partir à l'aventure sur la montagne du danger, où elle rencontrera Zak, un jeune humain. En voulant l'aider, elle lui jeta un sort qui le fit devenir aussi petit qu'elle. Elle le ramènera alors dans la forêt. Zak faisait partie de l'équipe chargée de raser la forêt. La fée Crysta lui apprend comment vivre en harmonie avec la nature, puis il s'attache à la forêt et renonce à raser les arbres. Malheureusement, les autres humains continuent de la raser et libèrent Hexxus, le génie de la destruction. C'est ensemble que Zak et Crysta vont essayer d'empêcher les humains et l'esprit du mal de détruire la forêt.

Former actor Bill Williams (Tom Arnold) is about to commit suicide over his ruined career. He throws out all his stuff and gives his clothes to a poor alcoholic. The man drinks Bill's vodka and takes half of his pills messing up his suicide plan and takes off. Bill drinks his alcohol and then takes the pills not knowing he won't die. He then lies down in the bathtub and closes his eyes. Three days later a demented film agent named Johnny Bernstein (Henry Winkler) shows up at the apartment with a business offer for him. He says a billionaire, Davis Roman (Joe Mantegna) will hire Bill to write and co-star in a movie exactly like True Lies so that his son, Aaron Roman (Eric Gores), whose favorite film is True Lies, can live out his dream of being an actor and star of an action movie. Not knowing much about the boy or the billionaire, Bill agrees to do the project since he would make thousands by the end of the movie.
