Synopsis
Entrepreneur C.K.Oberoi (Amrish Puri) raises a child as his own when it is found abandoned, and the child Vijay Kumar(Ajay Devgn) grows to live up to his expectations, but soon has to face the ire of the envious and power hungry relatives of Oberoi who do not want Vijay to prosper.Acteurs

The Police Commissioner, Advocate Sinha and Police Inspector Vikram Singh(Sunil Shetty) arrive at the Central Mental Hospital to speak with an inmate, Arun Saxena(Ajay Devgn). Kumar (Dharmendra) is interested in boxing but her mother Janki (Nirupa Roy) doesn't like him to be a boxer. He falls in love with his neighbour, Mala (Reena Roy) detective by profession. They were soon to marry. The story moves forward by Mala finding out that G.D. (Amrish Puri) who runs a gym where he trains boxers and only wants his trainee to win boxing championship, he does lots of illegal activities and tries to find out proof against him so that he can be jailed. The story takes turn when Janki gets a call from menal hospital that Ganga has completely recovered and can be discharged from the hospital. She shares her agony with her husband and tells him that it would be impossible to give back her son to his biological mother Ganga. Overhearing this conversation, Kumar is shattered. But when Ganga meets his son for the first time, she doesn't reveal him truth herself realising that Janki is heart patient and would die without Kumar and soon moves to Haridwar. Kumar goes to Haridwar to find her and brings her back and give her a house to stay. He doesn't reveal Janki about their association. Soon he comes to know that his biological father, Ajay (Dara Singh) was a boxing champion and was killed by G.D. Kumar decides to take revenge by winning boxing championship against those killers and he finally succeeds. But, seeing murder of her husband murderers, Ganga again loses her mental balance and dies on the spot. Kumar comes back home and break the news in front his parents that Ganga is dead but still doesn't confess that he knows the truth. The story ends with family remembering Ganga.

The film revolves around a gangster named Mustafa (Patekar) who is a contract killer and can go any limit to please his superiors and offers 5 times Namaz. He was adopted by a powerful don Shanta Prasad (Rawal) when he was a child. He calls Shanta as Abba (an Urdu term for father). Abba taught him the crime tactics and made Mustafa his weapon for his illicit crimes. Mustafa's only aide is Sudama, his childhood best friend. Abba shares enmity with the Verma brothers Mahesh, Rohan and Bipin (Pradhan, Joshi and Bahl) which the trio wants to kill Abba. Meanwhile, a dancer Kavita (Tandon) who works in Verma's dance club. Mustafa falls for her which heats up enmity of Vermas and Mustafa. Kavita meets Mustafa and he tells his life's history to which Kavita develops a soft core for Mustafa. He marries her and love blossoms. But this happiness does not last long as Kavita gets killed in a car blast (a plan hatched by Vermas to kill Abba instead). Her death made Mustafa realise his mistakes and wants to end up giving up crime. He kills Mahesh's son by planting a bomb on his forehead. He goes to Dixit's house where he is disliked by them but his heart warming nature wins the Dixit's family's heart. Abba is happy that Mustafa is recovering from his trauma and helps Vikram (Joshi) for his education and job, bails out Dayanand Dixit (Satam) by false crimes and helps Vidya to marry Arun (Behl). Meanwhile Bipin's lustful eyes falls on Vidya. During elections Mustafa involves in a brawl where he kills Mahesh and his Rohan in a bomb blast and helps the politician Imtiaz to win. Mustafa now wants to surrender himself to police and refuses to work for Imtiaz and Abba anymore. Imtiaz orders Abba to kill Mustafa in fear that in future he will confess the crimes of Imtiaz and Abba. In the wedding night, Bipin enters the house and tries to rape Vidya but Mustafa slits him brutally with a mirror piece. Police arrives and Mustafa is about to surrender but before he wants to marriage ceremony to be complete. Abba arrives and offers Mustafa to continue his work again but he refuses. Mustafa offers Namaz for thanking Allah. Helpless, Abba has no other option but to obey the orders of Imtiyaz and finally orders his men to shoot Mustafa and kills him. A hearbroken yet angered Sudama then kills Abba.

Three friends from Delhi go missing in a small village – Jhanjhar. It's two months and there is no clue about their disappearance. The media and students movement demand action from the authorities. It's then that the government orders a Central Bureau of Investigation enquiry with officers Sidhant Chaturvedi (Akshaye Khanna) and Pratap Kumar (Ajay Devgn) to solve the case. They find it difficult to solve the case as the local police and other authorities are a part of Shool Sena, which is responsible for illicit activities. Sidhant and Pratap also face Superintendent of police Ajatshatru Singh IPS (Paresh Rawal), a ruthless police officer who misuses his power. Not only that even the locals don't support the investigation.

The story is based in Kashmir. It starts with a sad Radhika (Sonali Bendre) being introduced to an Army Major (Parmeet Sethi) by her father, Raja Saab (Shakti Kapoor) an erstwhile king and current politician. Raja Saab tells her that the Major will be a good husband for her. On the day of the engagement, news breaks of a terrorist attack in a nearby village led by the terrorist, Shaka (Ajay Devgan). The Major and Raja Saab leave with a large force to that village. But that turns out to be a ruse as Shaka comes to the place of the engagement and burns the marriage Mandap. Then he gives a long look to Radhika, who looks at him with hatred, and leaves. Shaka reaches his lair where he meets his leader, Dara (Amrish Puri) and Shabnam (Madhoo) and the rest of his gang. Dara welcomes him and proclaims him to be Diljale. Shabnam, who loves him, tries to hug him but Shaka rebuffs it.
