Hasta el viento tiene miedo (Even the Wind is Frightened or Even the Wind is Scared) is a 1968 (1967 according to the ITESM) Mexican horror film, written and directed by Carlos Enrique Taboada and is considered a cult movie in México. A remake was released in 2007, around Halloween, and it stars Martha Higareda as the protagonist.Synopsis
The film is about a group of students in college exclusive for woman, led by Claudia (Alicia Bonet) who decide to investigate a local tower that has figured prominently in disturbing recurring dreams Claudia has been having. The dream also features a hanged woman's body. They are suspended from school for their antics, but Claudia learns from one of the female staff members that the person in the dream is a student who killed herself years before, and that the teacher has seen her ghost.
