Kothigalu Saar Kothigalu (Kannada: ಕೋತಿಗಳು ಸಾರ್ ಕೋತಿಗಳು) is a 2001 Indian Kannada comedy film directed by Rajendra Singh Babu. The film stars Ramesh Aravind, S. Narayan, Mohan, Prema, Tara and Urvashi in the lead roles. This is the second film in the "Saar" series directed by Babu and was released on 28 December 2001 and received generally positive reviews from the critics and turned out to be box-office hit. The film was remade in Telugu as Sandade Sandadi and in Hindi as Shaadi No. 1.

The film won the Filmfare Award for Best Film - Kannada for the year 2002. Ramesh Aravind nominated for Filmfare Best Actor.

Achappa (Vishnuvardhan) is a soldier from Madikeri who is injured while the Second World War is raging. In the hospital he meets an Army nurse (Suhasini) who is also from Coorg. After the War both get married in Madikeri. Achappa goes back to the Army and his wife lives with her in-laws. She has Achappa's son but she becomes barren after giving birth. The films opens to a visual narration with a series of ancient paintings, of a wealthy kingdom named Bherunda that existed around 700 years ago at the erstwhile Mysore State (present-day Karnataka), ruled by king Aditya Devanarayana. As a battle with the kingdom's enemies approached, he ordered that all the kingdom's wealth be transported and stored in a faraway island, in a cave. Having won the battle, the enemies returned empty-handed. But, the location of the wealth remained a mystery for centuries.

Annayya is a story of a person named "Annayya"(Ravichandran) who is the only child of a rich Landlord(Srinath) and had lost his mother at the time of his birth. Annayya's father can provide him anything he wants but Annayys's only desire is to get mother's love. In order to fulfill his son's desire Sreenath gets married to Nagamani(Aruna Irani), thinking that she could take care of him more than his real mother would. As the day passes, Nagamani's brother Dheerendra Gopal enters into Annayya's house by convincing Sreenath that he has lost all his properties due to some loss. Then Dheerendra Gopal asks her sister Nagamani to get the property of annayya's to be nominated into her name so as to think of her child which is about to enter into the outside world. Then Nagamani makes Annayya to follow each and every step that her mother says and not to take even a single decision without her permission. He even stops going to school and become a slave to his mother.
