The film stars six newcomers with Shriya Saran, Anjala Zaveri and Amala Akkineni in key roles. The movie was jointly produced by Sekhar Kammula and Chandrasekhar Kammula under Amigos Creations banner. Soundtrack of the film was composed by Mickey J Meyer and the cinematography was handled by Vijay C. Kumar.
Synopsis
Srinu (Abhijeet Duddala) is a degree student who has two sisters, Satya (Rashmi Shastry) and Chinni (Kavya). Srinu’s widowed mother (Amala) asks her children to move to their uncle’s house in Hyderabad as she got a job transfer. Amma promises to Chinni that she will return in exactly 1-year. The area in which Srinu’s uncle lives is divided into two areas: the luxurious Gold-phase and the lower class B-phase. Srinu’s uncle lives in B-phase along with Srinu’s Aunt, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, grandfather and grandmother.Acteurs

This movie starts off with the assassination of Sanjeevayya (Suman), the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and the subsequent turmoil in the organization of the state government. The last wish of Sanjeevayya is for his son, Arjun Prasad (Rana Daggubati), to become the next Chief Minister. However, Arjun's cousin Dhanunjay (Subbaraju) has his own dreams of becoming the Chief Minister. Arjun is approached by Ali (Harsha Vardhan) who has given 10 Crores to Sanjeevayya to resolve a land dispute in Ali's favour. Ali pleads Arjun to remind his father about the cash, once he is out of coma, as he has given his entire savings to resolve the issue. Ali also requests Arjun not to disclose it to anyone as he doesn't trust anyone. Arjun speaks to Dhanunjay about Ali but Arjun is somehow convinced that Ali's money would be returned. After Sanjeevayya's death a number of people approach Arjun, saying that his father has given them a huge sum of money and it's their duty to return it to Arjun. Arjun doesn't seem to be too interested until he talks to his mother, Rajeshwari (Suhasini Maniratnam). Arjun's mother tells him that the people who approached him are all corrupted ones, who have looted public's money and also reveals that his father is one among them. Arjun is shocked upon hearing this but his mother tells him that his father wanted to build a corrupt free state and also abolish the caste system but his Peddaina (Sanjeevayya's elder brother) (Kota Srinivasa Rao) doesn't approve of his plans and his only aim was to rule the state along with the family members. Arjun reads his father's diary and finds out how his Pedainna set their whole village on fire due to a small clash with the dalits. His father has also mentioned that only Arjun can make a difference.

Happy Days tells us a story that explores the lives of eight friends through the four years of their engineering course. Each one of them joins Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology with their own set of idiosyncrasies, eccentricities, beliefs and ideals. The film is essentially the story of a modern-day girl Roopa (Kamalini Mukherjee). There was a bomb blast in a beach at Chennai before. Anaamika, (Nayantara) an IT professional, comes to Hyderabad in search of her husband. As soon as she arrives in Hyderabad, she goes to the police station and waits to give a complaint. The police officers could not understand her language, and she couldn't theirs. One policeman in the station named Sarathy, (Vaibhav Reddy), decides to help her realizing that she spoke Tamil, as he was a Tamilian as well; and the search for her husband begins. This story is all about an ambitious boy named Seenu (Ravi Teja) who dreams of becoming a don. He always likes to be called as ‘Don’ Seenu since childhood due to the strong influence of the Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Don’. He grows up with just one passion - that of becoming the World's No: 1 Don. Seenu goes to Germany and wins the heart of Deepthi (Shriya Saran) and later, he discovers that he was shown the wrong girl. The wrong girl is none another than the sister of Machiraju. This leads to various turns in the plot.

Akkineni Nagarjuna plays the role of a sincere Cop, Vamsi Krishna, who is sent undercover along with two other cops. When Vamsi in guise of a telephone department inspector, pursues her and falls in love with Geetha, she reciprocates Vamsi's love interest initially but refuses him after she gets to know the truth that he's a Cop and is about to drag her father to prison. The rest of the story is about how Vamsi gets hold of Raghuram through Raghuram's daughter Geetha and what facts he learns about the crime operation of the real Criminal played by Sharat Saxena who deceives Geetha's father Raghuram who is actually an innocent victim, and in the process how the misunderstanding between Geetha and Vamsi gets cleared up, how Vamsi banishes the real criminal. The plot of the movie was inspired by the American movie Stakeout.
