Mugguru Maratilu (Telugu: ముగ్గురు మరాటీలు) is a 1946 Telugu film produced and directed by Ghantasala Balaramaiah. It ran for more than 100 days and established Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Kasturi Siva Rao in the Telugu cinema field.

Prabhu (ANR) dreamt of a lovely lady, his 'Dream Girl' or 'Swapna Sundari'. He encounters a tribal queen (G. Varalakshmi) while on tour, who falls in love with him, but he rejects her. He finally meets his 'Swapna Sundari' (Anjali Devi) who is actually a Deva Kanya. The love is mutual. She leaves her Godly abode to stay with Prabhu. But an evil Mantrik (Mukkamala) finds out that with her help, he can conquer the world and become invincible so he kidnaps her. Prabhu, with the help of the tribal queen vanquishes the evil Mantrik, but the Rani dies. Swapna Sundari and Prabhu live happily ever after.

Qais Ibn Al Mulawwa, son of Shah Amri is sent to Damascus to pursue his education. There he meets and falls in love with the beautiful Laila, daughter of the Najd chieftain. Though Laila reciprocates his love in equal measure, her father opposes this match and keeps her confined in the house. Heartbroken at this separation, Qais loses his mental faculties and wanders aimlessly, always uttering the name of Laila. He is soon known far and wide as Majnoon, the obsessed. In the kingdom of Malarpuri, the queen (P. Kannamba) delivers a male child. Her brother Naganathan (M. N. Nambiar) replaces it with a dead child with help from a maidservant, and informs king Varaguna Pandiyan (Sadasiva Rao) that the newborn is dead. To Naganathan's surprise, the queen gives birth to another boy soon after delivering the first. Minister Gunaseelar arrives by then and the king is informed of the birth of two children, one dead and one alive. Everyone is happy that at least one is alive. Naganathan decides to kill the first infant and hands it over to his servant Somappa (Stunt Somu). However, Somappa and his wife raise the prince in a forest.

Anugu, the King of Palnadu has three sons - Nalagama Raju, Narasinga Raju and Malideva Raju. He anoints Nalagama Raju as the king under the care of his minister Brahmanaidu. A wealthy and powerful woman Nagamma enters the kingdom. Progressive minded Brahmanaidu allows Harijan entry into temples and appoints Kannamadasu, a Harijan as the army commander. This hurts the upper caste people and also the prince Narasinga Raju, who seeks the help of Nagamma. In the King's court, Nagamma accuses Brahmanaidu which leads Malideva demanding a division of the kingdom. Nalagama Raju divides the kingdom and gives Macherla to Malideva Raju, with Brahmanaidu as his adviser. Nalagama holds the Gurajala under the control of Nagamma. She conspires to unite the country and make Narasinga Raju as the king. Malideva is invited for kodi pandelu (cock fight), the loser to leave the kingdom and live in exile for seven years. But after that period, she refuses to hand over the kingdom to Malideva. She has plotted to kill the emissary Alaraju, son-in-law of Nalagama. This results in war and the annihilation of almost the entire clan. In the war field, Nagamma realizes her mistake and seeks pardon from Brahmanaidu.
