Synopsis
Vani Viswanath joue le personnage principal, Sukanya, une jeune et charmante étudiante en médecine. Babuji, un homme politique malin, éprouve envers elle des sentiments qui mèneront au meurtre de son petit ami. Babuji organise le faux mariage de Sukanya, qui est alors forcée de satisfaire les envies de son « mari ». Mais elle gagne rapidement la confiance de Babuji et entre dans le monde du pouvoir et de la politique avec lui. Elle parvient à prendre sa revanche sur Babuji.Acteurs

The protagonist of the film, Kuttan, is a thirty - year old man, but he has the intelligence of a ten - year old. People call him Karumadikkuttan as he is dark. Everyone has sort of affection for him and he too is always ready to do anything for anybody in the village. The remuneration that he gets for any job somehow is never above five rupees. But he works really hard when he is terribly hungry just for the sake of this meagre amount. And he has no complaint against anybody. People even ridicule him. But he thinks only of the positive aspect of things and has no grudge against anybody.

The film begins with some insight into a Brahmin family, with Patteri (Thilakan) as the patriarch, who is a great astrologer and helps a police officer(Janardhanan) crack a robbery case. The story then moves on to a political arena, where Madhavan (Balachandra Menon) is selected as the Chief Minister. He is popular with the people and but his self serving ministers and his own party is rebelling against him. Madhavan has to win the by-election to retain his position as chief minister. During a chance encounter with Patteri (Thilakan), Patteri predicts the by-elections won't happen.
