Synopsis
Gopalakrishnan is the son of Gopalan Nair, who rears cows and sells milk for a living. Gopalan Nair, now in his sixties, finds it hard to continue with his job and calls for the assistance of Remanan, the president of milkmen association and the only friend of his son Gopalakrishnan. Even though Gopalakrishnan could not pursue his studies after his sixth standard, he is not ready for any hard work and is only interested in making money the easy way.Acteurs

Balakrishnan (Mukesh) is a heart patient. He urgently needs a heart transplant and luckily he gets the heart of Aby Mathew (Jayaram) who was dead a few moments ago. After the operation, Balakrishnan discovers that he can see Aby Mathew while nobody else can. Aby Mathew is now a ghost and he wants to bring his killers in front of the law. He takes Balakrishnan's help and start investigating. At first, nobody is ready to believe Balakrishnan as no one believes in ghosts. Balakrishnan also takes the help of Sub Inspector Damu (Sreenivasan) who also at first does not believe him. Balakrishnan discovers that Aby Mathew was murdered by his adopted brother and confidant Alex Chandanavelil (Saikumar) to take over his business and that the lives of Aby's wife (Maathu)and mother (Kaviyoor Ponnamma) are also in danger. The rest of the plot is Balakrishnan's attempt to save them.

The story revolves around three unemployed people (the third is a middle age unsuccessful theater owner). The story opens with the arrival of Balakrishnan (Saikumar) in Cochin to dispute the denial of his company job which he was supposed to receive several years ago. Several candidates overtook his chance and the last one was Rani (Rekha) who pretends to be an influential figure in the town. Rani threatens Balakrishnan to continue to work despite his efforts to overthrow her. The company manager (Sankaradi) who knows her family situation (poor and pathetic) helps her to remain in the job. Balakrishnan determined to stay back in the town until he succeeds to get back his job back from Rani.

Bobby (Jayasurya) who is really poor and can't speak, earns living by painting billboards for his boss (Cochin Haneefa) along with his friends, falls in love at first sight with Gopika, while painting. Gopika was told he could speak and lost her love. In the end she gets to know Bobby really can't speak and she and Bobby fall in love. But she is supposed to marry Shyam (Indrajith),a rich and modern young man, who she hates. Gopika's family are against her relationship with Bobby so they elope.
