Okka Magaadu (English: One Man) is a 2008 Telugu, Patriotic film produced & directed by YVS Chowdary on his Bommarillu banner. Starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, Simran, Anushka Shetty, Nisha Kothari in the lead roles and music composed by Mani Sharma. The film recorded as flop at box office. The film is inspired by the 1996 Tamil blockbuster Indian (which was dubbed into Telugu as Bharateeyudu), which starred Kamal Haasan and was directed by S. Shankar.

Synopsis

Veeravenkata Satyanarayana Swamy (Nandamuri Balakrishna) is beloved by villagers whose lives were forever changed by his presence. His grandmother, Baby (Simran Bagga), whose husband had dedicated his life to gaining independence for his country, was taken as a prisoner of war and declared Missing In Action. Meanwhile, corrupt doctors, lawyers, and journalists are allegedly killed but their bodies were never found. Suspected of the murders, Swamy is arrested. But an old man named Okka Magadu (Nandamuri Balakrishna) comes forward and claims to have committed the alleged murders. Okka Magadu looks like the older version of Swamy whose sworn enemy is Namboodriyar (Ashutosh Rana)--a politician whose son elopes with a middle-class girl under Swamy's protection.

The movie starts with a fight in which Durga Prasad bashes up police for occupying the house of a poor woman. Dhanunjaya Rao (Raghuvaran) comes to know the heroism of Durga Prasad and tells him his flashback. Dhanunjaya Rao and Chandra Sekhar (Charan Raj) are the best friends. They have a kid each. At the last spurring moment, Chandra Sekhar becomes selfish which results in the death of the son of Dhanunjaya Rao. Due to this incident Chandra Sekhar becomes an enemy of Dhanunjaya Rao. The wife of Dhanunjaya Rao gets paralyzed. Dhanunjaya Rao's aim is to kill the son of Chandra Sekhar.
