Synopsis
The story unfurls itself in the course of a TV game show, much akin to Who Wants to be a Millionaire. Jayakrishnan (Jayaram), the protagonist, comes to take part in the show, hosted by popular filmstar Mukesh. In the course of the show, the host pries into Jayakrishnan’s past and the whole story is unfurled in flashback.Acteurs

The movie revolves around Thomman (Rajan P. Dev), who is a thief, and his two adopted sons, Shivan (Mammotty) and Sathyan (Lal). The story begins when they decide to mend their ways and lead a hardworking life. They own a lorry now and want to find work. Their lorry breaks down near Udumalpet. There the twists start. Sathyan steals the food from Panicker (Janardhanan)'s house. Actually the rice is mixed with poison by Panicker due to oppression from the village head Thevar (Kalashala Babu because Panicker's son cheats him and his daughter and go with Thevar's Money. Thomman eats the food and is hospitalized. After returning from hospital Thomman and sons come to Panickers house to know the truth. Now there is also Thomman and his sons with Panicker to help them and they defeat Thevar gang and take Thevar's Aid Rajakkannu or Rajappan (Salim Kumar) as their Adima means Slave. Later Thevar's daughter Poonkavanam (Laya) falls in love with Shivan. Thevar arranges Shivan's marriage with his daughter. There Kaaliyappan (Anand), who Poonkavanam's maternal uncle comes to stop the marriage. His plan success. At the marriage night Sathyan becomes a thief who robs the groom's Ornaments. Then Shivan and Sathyan Separates due to this incident. Actually Kaliyappan was its master brain. He tries to kill Sathyan and tell everyone that he escaped with the money. He killed Panicker's son by this way. But now Kaliyappan fails. Shivan come and help Sathyan. They go to Thevar’s house and reveals to him the truth about Panicker’s son and all misdeeds of Kaliyappan. After all becomes good there is a bad news for Shivan and Sathyan by Rajakkannu that Thomman due to his son’s separation attempt to suicide from a big mountain. His sons come there and Thomman tell that they would fight and Defeat him then only he stops his suicide attempt. At Last The Comical Climax Takes Place. Shivan and Sathyan beats Thomman and Thomman says -Ningalu thommanne makkalu thanne.

Thekkedathu Ramankutty (Dileep) is a marriage organizer. Small time criminal, Mahi (Mammootty) gets released from prison early. He has a reputation of beating up his rivals in the darkness. Mahi wants to help fellow inmate Balan's (Manoj K. Jayan) whose brother Satheesh (Manikuttan) is in need of money for a life saving operation. A fellow crook, Giri (Suraj Venjaramood) proposes an assignment for Mahi which will earn him enough money for the operation. Thottappally Surendran (Vijayaraghavan) plans to murder Sivasankaran Pillai (Saikumar) to settle an old score. Sivasankaran is serving life sentence for killing Surendran's father and is due to be released on short term parole. As part of a master plot, Surendran wants another man to accept the criminal charge and punishment.

Mahadevan (Jayaram) and Kumaran (Janardhanan) work in a small firm and are room mates renting from Janakiamma (Meena). One day, luck comes to them when Mahadevan wins a car as the first prize of a promotional contest held by a washing-powder brand. Meanwhile, a murderer, Ambrose (Abu Salim) is after Maya. By mistake, both the murderer and Mahadevan get the same tag number on their cars' license plates. The murderers try a hit-and-run attack on Maya, but she escapes. She thinks that Mahadevan who did it. Mahadevan gets arrested by sub-inspector Cherian (Kalabhavan Mani) according to Maya's complaint. But due to lack of proper evidence, he's released with a warning. After getting through problems one after another, Mahadevan finds the real killers and their car. He tells Maya about the killers who attempted for her life. Shockingly it is revealed that one of the killers is Maya's Vishnu who is after her wealth. Vishnu tries to kill Maya, but Mahadevan stops him. In an attempt to kill Mahadevan and Maya, Vishnu dies by falling on a sharp object. In an attempt to dump his body, the couple is stopped by Vishnu's accomplice, Ambrose. He's enraged by his friend's death and tries to kill Mahadevan and Maya. But ends up at the dead end of the road, where the cops were waiting for him with an armed force. The car catches fire from the gunshots and explodes, killing him. The film ends with sub-inspector Cherian thanking Mahadevan and Maya, for their help and support.

Kannan and Dasappan are two rowdies in their village. Shathrugnan. a newcomer, is in love with Dasappan' s sister, Devootty, but she is not interested in him. Shathru joins Kannan's and Dasappan's firm, KD & Company, as the manager, in an attempt to win the love of Devootty. KD & Company keeps as hostage a music troupe who comes to their village to perform.
