Palabishegam (English: Milk Worship) is a 1977 black-and white Tamil film that was directed by K. S. Gopalakrishnan and produced by T. Raju. Though the story and dialog was written by K. S. Gopalakrishnan. Music by Shankar Ganesh assets to the movie. Starring Jaishankar, Sreekanth , Sripriya and Rajasulochana was lead role in protagonist.

Synopsis

Kumaran(Jaishankar) is a hard working former living a simple life along with his mother Meenakshi(Pandari Bai). In reality meenakshi is the wife of Village Lanndlord(S. A. Ashokan).Who lives with his congubine Sengamalam(Rajasulochana) and son named Muthaiah(Sreekanth). Kumaran despises muthaiah and they lock horns to with love of Sivagami(Sripriya). But when sivagami chooses Kumaran. but She is father "poisatchi" Boothalingam(Thengai Srinivasan) did not approve her married. .So, Sivagamai escapes her home and getting married to kumaran. Muthaiah and sengu plot destroy him. Also sengu hatches a secret plan along with bootha lingam to take over landlord property. Sengu was huge boothalingam muthaiah was seen the visual, he must hated mother for bad activity. Sengu plan is her mixed poison with milk and landlord is dead and wrote letter for post with police herself and sign with her landlord signature. Then muthaiah was go to kumaran and told his mother evil plan and ask apology to kumaran. Kumaran and Muthaiah was unit and broke for sengu's plan .Kumaran put an end to the Mistress and boothalingam evil plans and unite his family.

Rajinikanth is a rich man who lives with his sister (Rajasulochana) and a young house maid in Chennai. Her sister arranges a marriage for Rajinikanth with Sridevi, who lives in Trichy. Soon after they marry, Sridevi moves to Rajini's house and gets shocked to find the original face of Rajini and his sister(Rajasulochana). Jaishankar comes to know about this and tries to free Sridevi from the hands of Rajini. But, unfortunately Sridevi dies in the end without knowing the real face of Rajini.

Selvam (Nizhalgal Ravi), an estate manager, and his family move into a new house based in a village. There, Selvam falls in love with Annam (Sadhana), a jolly village girl. Disturbed by a ghost (Lalitha Kumari), Selvam's grandfather dies from an heart attack. One day, Murali (Jaishankar), Selvam's brother, goes to an isolated home and treats an old lady. The next day, he realize that the old lady was a ghost and he also dies from an heart attack. The family, in mourning, decides to arrange Selvam's wedding with Annam to forget this tragedy. Thereafter, Annam becomes pregnant and even after 10 months she doesn't deliver. A Gurukkal (Ra. Sankaran) comes to the aid of the family and feels that something slows her delivery. He prepares a ritual. Finally, the ghost appears and tells her past.
