Sakudumbam Shyamala is a 2010 Malayalam comedy film directed by Radhakrishnan Mangalath and written by Krishna Poojapura. The film has Uravashi, Kunchako Boban, Nedumudi Venu, Saikumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Bhama in the main roles.
Synopsis
Shyamala (Urvashi) was not very good at her studies and fails in her Pre-degree examination. Her family, especially her brother Sekharan (Nedumudi Venu) loves her a lot. They arrange her marriage with an American guy, but he wants Shyamala to pass the Pre Degree for the marriage to happen. Things become different when Shyamala falls in love with Vasudevan (Saikumar), a Malayalam tutor in the college and marries him. Her family abandons her. Now Shymala is the mother of a 25-year-old son Akash (Kunchacko Boban).Acteurs

The film opens with the birth of Thoma (Dileep). Thoma's mother dies while giving birth to him, and he also suffers from a cleft lip and vocal cord deformity. Sai (Kunchacko Boban), a high-profile software engineer who is currently acknowledged as the best in their payrolls of his big MNC. Betrothed to another techie Shruthy, Sai and his friends lead a happy-go lucky life. After a small party on a Friday, Sai rushes home to join his parents for dinner, but on the way happens to hit another car, killing the driver. The film revolves around Madhavan Nair (Nedumudi Venu) who unknowingly kills a teenager and his eldest son, Raja, takes the blame and is sentenced to jail for five years. Jayaraman (Jayasurya) is popularly known as Kunjaliyan (Young Brother-in-law) in Gopalapuram, a village in the Kerala–Tamil Nadu border. He is the younger brother of three sisters. The movie starts with Pradeep enjoying a cricket match.Raghavan Thampi and his wife Subhadra are looking for brides for their sons Prabhakaran and Pradeep. Prabhakaran is aspiring to become a great Mridangam player, against the wishes of his family, while Pradeep is a bank employee. Subharda tries to commit suicide in front of Prabhakaran because he refused to marry Shailaja. Then finally Prabhakaran commits to marry Shailaja. After marriage Prabhakaran scolds Shailaja for any mistakes severely. One day on the insistence of his parents Prabhakaran takes Shailaja to watch a movie. On their way they encounter some goons who make fun of Prabhakaran who was too afraid to face them. He tries to ignore them but in the end their abuses turned out to be too much for his wife.Shailaja turned out to be a Karate expert. She fights the goons with her saree tucked in. The goons have no chance in front of Shailaja as her Karate kicks and punches are too good for them. On the same day at night Shailaja has a dream where she sees that her husband is being attacked by the same goons and she has to again fight them. Pradeep falls in love with Roshini, and they get married secretly in a temple. Pradeep and Roshini marry secretly to hide the marriage from his family. Roshini and Shailaja turned out to be old friends. Hence Roshini takes Pradeep to stay in his own house. After which Pradeep tries every possible trick to get out of the house. He asks his brother for help. Prabhakaran devises a plan in which he will try to prove that Roshini is a thief in front of other family members so that they are thrown out of the house. The plan fails and Prabhakaran himself is caught by the police. He is released after the original thief commits that he is the one who stole the jewellery. In the end Roshini is kidnapped by her stalker. Pradeep goes to save her. But both are caught by the police. The entire family reaches the police station to get him released. During this process some goons who are captured by the constable reach there. One of them takes Shailaja captive. Shailaja bashes up the goons with her Karate kicks in a saree. Eventually a bomb blows up the police station but the entire family escapes unhurt.

The story begins with Vasu, father of Vasoottan (Kunchacko) rescuing people from a bus fallen from a bridge on to a flooded river. During the rescue, vasu gets drowned in front of the onlookers which include his friend Prakashan (Joy mathew), his wife and his child while trying to rescue a kid. Sabu (Suraj Venjarumoodu) is Vasootan's friend, who was a one time goon and got reformed due to Vasootan's influence. Vasootan helps Sabu to marry Muthumani. One day a girl named Parvathy hires his auto to go to Railway station. As the train was about to depart, she asks vasoottan to take her to the Bus stand. But after an adventurous journey Vasoottan drops parvathy at the Railway station on time. She thanked him and went off. After a few days Prakashan's son informs that a girl has come to their studio and inquired about Vasoottan and the accident that took place long back in which Vasoottan lost his Father. Vasoottan thinks that it was Parvathy. Vasoottan receives a call from Parvathy and she asks him to come to her house to meet her Father. Sabu and Prakshettan ties a bet saying that Parvathy loves Vasoottan and had called him for fixing their Marriage. Vasoottan goes to her house and understands that they have called him for seeking his help in their Buisiness of delivering 100 numbers of Jamnapari goats to a Foreign Firm. Parvathy's Father (Maniyan Pilla Raju) and Mother (Anju Aravind) pleeds to Vasoottan for his help and finally he agrees to help them getting 100 Jamna Pyari goats on time. Sridharan (Renji Panicker) was Parvathy's Father's rival and he tries all ways to getting their business unsuccessful with his money and muscle power. At first Vasoottan arranges 10 Jamna Pyaris from local. Then they started giving advertisements in print, audio as well visual and e-medias. They received vide responses for the ads and finally they manages to reach the target. After too many complication Vasoottan and Parvathy gets their love succeed at the end.
