The film is produced on Three Angels Studio banner by Priyanka Dutt and is presented by Vyjayanthi banner. Devi Sri Prasad scored the soundtrack for the film. The film was released on 21 December 2012. The film was dubbed into Tamil as Sir Vanthara which was released on 27 December 2013.
Synopsis
Sandhyaa Arun(Kajal Aggarwal) is a student who is madly in love with Karthik (Ravi Teja), a techie based in Italy. She decides to travel with him to India, confident that the travel time would be enough for her to get Karthik to fall in love. Karthik reciprocates her gestures in a friendly way, but finally reveals that he is married to Vasudha (Richa Gangopadhyay) but is waiting to seek Divorce.Acteurs

Shyam Prasad (Shaam) is an honest ACP who comes into conflict with the local don, Dhanraj (Rahul Dev). The goons kill Shyam's son,Moksha,and Shyam does not reveal this to his family but fears the villains may kill his daughter also. Dhanraj threatens Shyam's family so the police department arranges for an officer to provide security for them. Deva (Ravi Teja) arrives and saves Shyam from Dhanraj's men and introduces himself as the security officer. Shyam gets tensed and reveals everything to Deva. When he goes to drop Anjali (ACP's daughter) to school with Tiger (Brahmanandam) with whom he shares his room,on their way he met Aiki (Taapsee Pannu),who falls for him.

Chandu (Ravi Teja)'s entire life is about his mother, Lakshmi (Jayasudha), a college lecturer. They together live in Hyderabad. This is a story set to pre-independence period in India. A village landlord Kanakayya (Rao Gopal Rao) marries Sita (Jayasudha), who is young enough to be his daughter, with the help of village karaNam (Nutan Prasad). However, he restricts her a lot after the marriage. Sita's brother Bangaram (Chalam) comes from the town and eyes Bangari (Reshmi Roy), Kanakayya's deaf and dumb servant Devudu's (Chandramohan) sister. Ram Babu (Gopichand) is the only son of cute couple Ram Babu & Janaki (Chandramohan & Jayasudha), who have earned so much for their son to lead a happy life without doing any work. In simple, Ram Babu is a vagabond with no work other than roaming on roads with his batch. All of the sudden he meets Nandini (Deeksha Seth), a House Surgeon who saves the life of Janaki when she had a severe heart attack. From the very next moment, Ram Babu falls in love with Nandini to chase her everywhere and make her accept his love but she never reciprocates. Sriram (Jagapati Babu) is the son of 'Pepsi' Parasuram (Vijayakumar) always enjoys his life and his father fell's him useless fellow. The rest of the film examines whether or not Raghu is finally vindicated in the eyes of his family.
