Synopsis
Jack Dougan et Snatcher Nell, un couple de voleurs, décident de dérober les cadeaux au mariage de Madge Carr et James Cluney. Nell se fait alors engager comme domestique pour avoir ses entrées dans la maison. Peu après, des objets commencent à disparaître, et le père de Madge, un cleptomane, commence à se sentir coupable, et le fiancé en vient à se suspecter lui-même. Un policier est appelé, mais Dougan, faisant semblant d'être Cluney, l'aborde et lui vole son badge, puis il prend sa place. Après diverses aventures, Nell et Dougan s'enfuient, mais, sur le point d'être attrapés, retournent chez les Carr et se confessent. Tout leur est pardonné et les deux couples se marient en même temps.Acteurs

As described in a film magazine, Tom Brown (Moore), a student at Harvard University, is engaged to Evelyn Ames (Daly). Her brother has become desperately involved with Marian Thorne (Winston). In an effort to protect his fiance's brother, the stigma associated with Marian Thorne's condition rests upon Tom. Evelyn breaks her engagement. Wilton Ames (Greene) crowns his borrowing of money from Tom by stealing a blank check and forging it for $300 to get Marion out of the city so that her condition may not get known. Gerald Thorne (McGrail), brother of Marian and stoke on the Harvard crew, refuses to enter the race after he is given a spurious note from his sister saying that she is leaving the city and wants to see him. Brown is put in has place and the race is won. Following the race, Gerald confronts him and charges him with being responsible for his sister's downfall. Evelyn demands that Tom marry Marian when Wilton finally confesses that he is the man involved. With Brown shown in his true light a happy reconciliation follows.

Wally Saunders (Johnny Harron) wants to marry chorus girl Violet Dayne (Anne Cornwall), but his uncle, Stephen Lee (Wydham Standing) thinks that all chorines are gold diggers (people who date others to get money from them) and refuses to give his approval. Violet's friend Jerry La Mar (Hope Hampton) is not a gold digger, but she agrees to go after Lee so aggressively that Violet will look tame by comparison. In 1795, the cream of English aristocracy attend the wedding of "tradesman's daughter" Margery. Un journaliste de New York, Jimmy Lee, est épris de Mary Howard, une jeune et jolie romancière à succès de vingt-huit ans. Il la demande en mariage mais à sa grande surprise, celle-ci refuse. Le roi d'Espagne tombe amoureux de Rosita, une chanteuse de rue, qui, elle, aime Don Diego, un noble sans le sou qui l'a défendue lorsque les gardes du roi ont voulu l'arrêter pour avoir chanté un pamphlet à propos du roi. Le roi arrange un mariage entre Rosita et Don Diego, tous deux ayant les yeux bandés, faisant de Rosita une comtesse avant d'être une veuve. La reine sauve la vie de Don Diego en plaçant des cartouches à blanc dans les armes du peloton d'exécution. Don Diego, faisant semblant d'être mort, est amené à la villa de Rosita et gagne le pardon du roi en sauvant sa vie, alors que Rosita en deuil voulait le frapper avec son couteau.
