Super Police (Telugu: సూపర్ పోలీస్) is a 1994 Telugu film produced by D. Sureshon Suresh Productions banner, directed by K. Murali Mohan Rao. The film stars Venkatesh, Nagma, Soundarya in lead roles and music composed by A.R. Rahman. It was dubbed and released in Tamil with the same name, it was also dubbed into Hindi as Khel Khaladi Ka and released in 1997. This was the second film that A.R. Rahman composed music for a direct Telugu film and the first time that he composed the entire soundtrack for a Telugu film.

Synopsis

Inspector Vijay (Venkatesh) is an honest police, officer. His past love Bharathi (Soundarya), a journalist, died in a road accident and from that day he became a drunk. Vijay comes on rental to the house of a journalist Renuka (Jayasudha) who had been divorced from her husband SP Prakash (Ahuti Prasad) because of his turpitudinous character and lives with her three children. Vijay comes closer to Renuka's family and develops an attachment to her children. Abbanna (Kota Srinivasa Rao) is a big shot in society, but he is a big smuggler and gangster, and also has underground contacts with terrorists. Home Minister (Chalapathi Rao) and SP Prakash are also their henchmen. Roja (Nagma) a petty thief falls in love with Vijay.

Sriram (Venkatesh) and Seeta (Soundarya) have no children even after three years of marriage life. Sriram comes to know through the doctor that his wife cannot bear children, he is not willing to hurt his wife's feelings, he takes the blame on himself. Sriram's father (Kota Srinivasa Rao) is very fond of children so he always blackmails Sriram to make the second marriage. While on a business tour to Nepal, he marries a Nepali girl Manisha (Vineetha) under some unavoidable circumstances. When he comes to know that she is carrying his child, Sriram arranges for her stay at his friend Giri's (Brahmanandam) house. Manisha delivers a boy and Sriram adopts him with his wife's consent who is not aware of the truth. After some years Sriram's father comes to know truth through Giri, he wants Sriram to get back Manisha and make a clean of things to Seeta. But Sriram who is apprehensive of his Seeta's reaction begs his father to keep the whole affair under wraps and he brings Manisha as a cook to his house. The story takes a turn to climax when Seeta is not happy with the goings on in the kitchen, she tries to get Manisha married off to someone else, then Sriram reveals the secret, Seeta also understands situations and circumstances and she happily welcomes Manisha into their lives. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note of two wives live happily with one husband.

However, Radha's family is in dire financial straits and, so, she has to reconsider this offer. In return for marrying Vijay, she asks for financial support for her family, which Vishwanath readily provides.

Nagendra Naidu (Nagendra Babu) is a powerful police officer. He wants to see his son Radhakrishna (Nitin) also as a good police officer. At this juncture, her photo appears in the TV saying that she was a big Naxalite leader. The actual story gets revealed with a small twist. Who created Krishnaveni as a Naxalite or did she really a Naxalite? What happened to the love between Radha and Krishna? How far, Radha was able to fulfil the dream of his father Nagendra Naidu? Answers to all these questions form part of the second half.
