The film is a remake of the Hindi film Love Aaj Kal, with Pawan Kalyan, Trisha Krishnan and Kriti Kharbanda playing the lead roles. The film's music is composed by Mani Sharma. The film portrays the feeling of pure love which never changes, although the perspective of realising one's soulmate has changed over time. The film, which was earlier referred to as Khushiga and Lovely, before being officially titled as Teenmaar, had released on 14 April 2011. The audio of the film was released on 21 March 2011.
Synopsis
Micheal Velayudham (Pawan Kalyan) is a chef in Cape Town, South Africa. He is an easy going chap who flirts with girls and makes the most of his affairs. His ambition is to go to US and work in New York for a stockbroker. He dates one of his acquaintance Meera Shastri (Trisha Krishnan) an art restoration professional in Cape Town. After a year, they agree to break up as she has to move to India for work and he thinks long-distance relationships don't work. In Cape Town, Micheal meets Senapathi (Paresh Rawal) the owner of a restaurant who narrates the love story of his friend Arjun Palwai (Pawan) with Vasumati (Kriti Kharbanda) which had happened around 1981. Meanwhile, after Meera moves to India, Micheal fails to connect with any other girl. To prove to her that he has moved on, he meets a blonde girl Michelle (Danah Marks) in a bar and dates her. However, Meera is proposed to by her family friend Sudheer (Sonu Sood), a politician, and she agrees to marry him, only to prove that she has moved on too. He comes to India with some pretext and meets Meera. Micheal who is frustrated that Meera married Sudheer, gets desperate and tries to regret what had happened so far in his sorrow he gets an offer for his dream job in US. After initially having joyful moments in his new job, he eventually feels some loneliness which he doesn't understand. The rest of the story focuses on how Michael realises his mistakes and how Arjun Palwai's story makes an impact on his decision.Acteurs

Lakshmi Narasimha (Balakrishna) is a strict police officer who does not mind making his own rules to bring justice to the public. Once, he was indirectly affected by the goon Dharma Bhiksham (Prakash Rai) which costs him his sister and lots of properties of his native village. But Dharma Bhiksham does not know that it was Lakshmi Narasimha who got affected by him. After a few months, Lakshmi Narasimha is transferred to Vijayawada. Dharma Bhiksham rules the mafia world from Vijayawada. Though, a strict police officer - he compromises with Dharma Bhiksham and takes bribes to the tune of one and half crores. He takes the bribes and then invests all the money into rehabilitating his native village affected by Dharma Bhiksham. Dharma Bhiksham comes to know about it and rebels against Lakshmi Narasimha. The rest of the story is all about how Lakshmi Narasimha puts an end to the life of Dharma Bhiksham using illegal methods.

The film revolves around a struggling road constructor, Sachin Tichkule (Akshay Kumar). He dreams big, but there seems to be no chance of his dreams coming true as he doesn't have any money to bribe the bureaucracy. His family have lost faith in him, telling him to earn money. To make matters worse, the new Municipal Commissioner turns out to be his former girlfriend, Gehna Ganpule (Trisha Krishnan), who now hates him. His brothers-in-law Trigun (Manoj Joshi), Suhas Vichare (Milind Gunaji), and his elder brother (Paritosh Sand) were all responsible for a bridge collapsing case in which many people were killed. They were helped by a politician named Sanjay Rana (Jaideep Ahlawat). After being saved by their driver Vishwas Rao, (Tinu Anand) they kill him fearing he would reveal the truth. Meanwhile Sanjay's lustful eyes fall on Sachin's sister Anjali (Urvashi Sharma). Sachin warns him by slapping him in his office. Meanwhile Azad Bhagat (Makrand Deshpande) wants justice as his family were killed in that accident. Anjali is married to Sanjay, unbeknownst to Sachin, when he confronts his father he reprimands him, saying he has no right to say he didn't know anything because he has no money to send his sister off. After losing contact, he learns she has been attempting to contact him and goes to their house, seeing Azad escape from Sanjay's house. He then learns of Anjali's death because a cooker exploded. Devastating the whole family, especially Sachin himself, who is suspicious. He then meets Azad again at the municipal office, he learns of Azad's intentions and that he had stolen evidence which would put the people involved, behind bars. They both then agree to help each other to reveal the corruptness behind the construction of the bridge. Sanjay hires masked robbers, who kill Azad, who was on his way to court. At the hospital, while Azad is dying in Sachin's arms, he reveals that while he was stealing the evidence, he saw Sachin's sister being raped by Sanjay and his friends, now speculating whether she was murdered or if she committed suicide. In an attempt to make sure the evidence isn't revealed, Sanjay steals it after robbing Azad's house, a fight ensues between Sanjay and Sachin, Sanjay is then killed after being run over and Sachin successfully retrieves the evidence. Sachin's brother and brothers-in-law are arrested, and the whole family begin belittling him, claiming he was jealous of them and unlike his successful brothers, and blaming him for tarnishing the family name. Sachin then argues back that, they didn't lose anyone and he had to deal with the pain of losing Anjali the most. He agrees to leave, until his father stops him and realises his honesty and trustworthiness, re-kindling their relationship.
