The film starred by Irfan Bachdim, Kim Kurniawan, Maudy Ayunda, Giorgino Abraham, Jordi Onsu, Joshua Suherman, Agus Kuncoro, Sujiwo Tedjo, Natasha Chairani, Yosie Kristanto, and Matias Ibo. The film is based on a movie, entitled Garuda di Dadaku with the main theme soundtrack theme song, titled "Tendangan Dari Langit", which sung by Kotak.
The film nominated for "Favorite Film" at the 2012 Indonesian Movie Awards and nominated for "Best Film" at the 2011 Indonesian Film Festival.

Soekarno is based on the life of Sukarno, the first Indonesian president.
