That Boy is a 1974 gay porn film written, produced and directed by Peter Berlin, his first and only feature-length pornographic film. It is also the second and last feature-length porn film in which he appeared as an actor following the huge success of Nights in Black Leather. Although he is credited as director, producer and actor under the name Peter Burian, following the threat of a lawsuit from another actor named Peter Burian he changed his name to Peter Berlin alnd became hugely popular under the new name.

Synopsis

This was as popular as Berlin's first film. This second feature film tells a more complicated story of Peter Berlin's alter ego Helmut who drifts around south of Market and Polk Street areas of San Francisco.

The film is based on the opera Madama Butterfly by Giacomo Puccini. "Lt. Pinkerton" (played by mainstream French actor J. H. Forsell) is a strapping American sailor on leave in Japan. He marries the young "Madame Butterfly" (an uncredited actress) and ravishes her while Butterfly's maid, "Soosooky" (another uncredited actress) watches and masturbates. Pinkerton then abandons Butterfly. A new character, "the coolie boy" (role originally attributed to Natan), spies on Butterfly and Soosooky as they engage in lesbian sex. He masturbates while watching them.

The boss of a car shop (Wolf Hudson) is in dire need of a good mechanic to fix a broken down car. The shop is completely run by men, but a female mechanic named Billie (Krystal Kali) decides to apply after seeing a "help wanted" sign. The boss gives her a shot if she can fix broken down vehicle that all the other mechanics haven't been able to fix. If accomplished she's hired, but if she doesn't, she must leave the premises and go out on a date with him. To the dismay of the men, she agrees to the challenge, as she is looking for a job. She gets the car started and stuns everyone with her skills and is immediately hired. All the mechanics make it difficult for her, especially one of the men (Cameron Marshall), play practical jokes and pranks to get her to leave. Cameron and Billie do not like each other, but there is strong tension between them. After catching each other watching the boss and his girlfriend (Lola) engaging in sex inside the office, they become friendly with one another. The next time the guys start trouble with Billie, Cameron jumps in to defend her and tell all of them to leave her alone. The film ends with Cameron and Billie falling in love and embracing each other with a kiss.
