Along with his friend Dan "Cookie" Cook (Stubby Kruger), Bill "Breezy" Duke (Ralph Byrd), a sailor who disguises himself as the heir to the Duke Chocolate Company fortune, goes on furlough from his navy job. While the duo hitchhike, Mrs. Duke (Margaret Armstrong), who is part of the true Duke Chocolate family, picks them up. She finds herself entertained by Breezy's pose, and, while she is out of town for a month, she grants them permission to stay at her suite, located at the Coral Beach Hotel. While there, Cookie and Breezy become very popular. "General" Courtney (Herbert Corthell), who is also staying at the hotel, poses as a general with lots of fortune. He plots with "Sniffy" Higgins (Val Stanton), who poses as his valet, to entice Breezy into a con game to steal the Duke fortune. Courtney hires a woman named Maureen (Veda Ann Borg) to pretend to be his daughter. Maureen fakes fainting while in an elevator with Breezy and Cookie, so the duo carry her to Courtney's hotel room. They all get to know each other, and Breezy and Cookie become fascinated with Courtney's stories of adventure. Courtney asks them to become part of his search for buried pirate treasure, and Breezy and Cookie accept. When Courtney asks for two thousand dollars for expenses, Breezy and Cookie go to their fellow sailors and convince them to come up with the money. Unknown to them, Courtney uses the money to pay for the boat and his hotel bill., 1h1

After Sach is mistaken by French professor as the missing Prof. Maurice Gaston LeBeau, they convince him to impersonate the professor in the hopes of driving the real professor out of hiding. Sach and Slip head off to Paris, along with Louie, and proceed with the plan, with everyone there thinking that the professor has amnesia. The real professor finds out about his impostor and returns to Paris, just in time to encounter spies who are trying to steal the professor's rocket fuel formula that he was working on when he disappeared. Sach, however, creates his own rocket formula that saves the day, and he is rewarded for his efforts in the end., 1h2

Sach convinces Louie to rent the back room of the sweet shop to a professor. Meanwhile Slip is preoccupied with entering their car in an auto race to raise enough money to help Louie pay his bills. They don't have any luck with the car until Sach invents a formula that makes the car go faster. A crooked gambler tries to steal the formula from them, with no luck. Slip enters into another race, but has to start the race without the formula in the car as Sach was making another batch. When Sach reaches him in the middle of the race and puts the formula in the gas tank the cars begins to accelerate...only in reverse! Sach and Slip then continue the race in reverse and wind up winning. Sach then realizes why the formula didn't work as it did before., 1h5

Sach's head becomes hard and he feels no pain. As a result, Slip enters him into a wrestling match hoping to win $1,000. However, Sach's strength has disappeared from his head. Luckily they discover that it has traveled to his finger, and he wins the match. Slip decides to enter Sach into more matches, but a rival manager wants to take control. Slip resists the offer and Sach goes onto become world champion, with his power traveling to various parts of his body, including his elbow and toes. The rival manager prevents another wrestler from fighting Sach in a charity match so that his wrestler can go against him. The boys are then kidnapped in the hopes that they will reveal where Sach's power has traveled to. The escape and Sach enters the ring, not knowing where his power is. Slip discovers that it in on Sach's derriere, and uses that knowledge to win the match., 1h4

The members of the local university's trust make a wager that anyone can make it through college if just given the chance. Because of this, they enlist the boys to attend the university to prove the theory. While the boys do not become academic scholars, Sach invents a "vitamin" drink that makes him invincible. They all join the football team and Sach becomes the star player, leading them to the big championship game. A local gambler sees an opportunity to make some money by kidnapping Sach and preventing him from playing. However, Slip and the rest of the gang rescue Sach and return him to the game. Unfortunately he does not have any more "vitamins", so Slip plans a ruse on the playing field that distracts the other team and allows him to score the winning touchdown., 1h6

After Slip is drafted into the Marines, the rest of the gang volunteers so they can be with him. Sach discovers that the colonel knew his father and he is promoted. During a drill that he is putting the rest of the gang through, they find a soldier left for dead on the side of the road. Slip discovers a playing card next to the marine and traces it to Jolly Joe Johnson's gambling house. They suspect that the gambling house is cheating and set out to uncover the proof. They enter the gambling house late at night, but are discovered by Jolly Joe and his gang. A fight ensues, but two Marine intelligence officers arrive in time to arrest the criminals. Sach, having been framed for having a girl in the barracks is stripped of his promotions, but a new colonel is now in charge and fought with a soldier named Mahoney. Slip claims that was his father and he is promoted and promptly gets even with Sach by taking him on a long drill., 1h1

Chuck gets a job working for a newspaper. When promoted, he has to go under cover in the state prison to dig up some information on some of the inmates. When one of the inmates beats Chuck up and lands him in the hospital, it's up to Slip, Sach, and Butch to finish Chuck's job. Slip decides that he and the boys should commit a crime so that they can be sent to jail. Another reporter, Cy Bowman, agrees to inform the penitentiary that the boys are actually working under cover for the newspaper once they get arrested. However, Bowman does not actually keep his promise. Now the trio are forced to spend what they think is a short sentence in jail. While there, the boys dig up some information on Percival P. Lannigan and some other inmates who have been living it up in jail, unknown to the warden. Lannigan soon gets word that Slip and his pals are under cover for Chuck (whom Lannigan had beaten up earlier), and intends to have Chuck and Louie killed. The boys eventually expose the inmates scam and turn them over to the warden, who pardons them and arranges for their release., 1h3

Sach inherits a farm and they boys travel to it. They discover that their neighbors are the Smiths, who have feuded with the Joneses, of which Sach is one. They keep Sach's identity secret, and become friends with them. A gang of bank robbers arrive and hide out in the boys house. The Smiths arrive and, thinking the robbers names are Jones, begin shooting at them. The law arrives and takes the criminals away, but Slip accidentally says he is "Mr. Jones" and the Smiths begin shooting at him!
