Vennela 1 1/2 (Telugu: వెన్నెల 1 1/2) is a 2012 Telugu Film Directed by Comedian Vennela Kishore and produced by Vasu & Varma on GR8 Films Banner. It is a Sequel to the Critically Acclaimed 2005 Telugu Film Vennela by Deva Katta. It stars Chaitanya Krishna, Monal Gajjar, Bramhanandam & Vennela Kishore in the Lead. Sunil Kashyap provided the Music while Suresh Bhargav handled the Cinematography. It was released on 21 September 2012.

The movie starts with Jasmine Falguda aka Jaffa (Brahmanandam), a former software engineer, narrating his story when he was in jail. He befriends all the prisoners in the jail, and subsequently becomes their leader. When prisoners face problems, Jaffa is the one who solves their problems. Eventually, he also befriends the jailor Nikki (Vennela Kishore). Nikki has been trying to get a terrorist in his custody to speak, but Nikki's tortures eventually lead to the terrorist hanging himself, putting Nikki in risk. Nikki pleads help from Jaffa, who is still in jail, for getting his job back. So Jaffa and Nikki together plan for Jaffa to escape from the jail. In the process, Father Suyodhana (Raghu Babu) is to be killed, and his corpse is to be placed in the coffin, and by the time the coffin is taken for burial, Jaffa will go inside the coffin. After the burial, Nikki will come to the graveyard to dig up the coffin and rescue Jaffa.

During the political realm of N. T. Rama Rao, Shankar Narayana is an independent MLA of the constituency of Shankar Nagar, which is named after him, in Hyderabad, and is regarded as a champion for the poor. Kamesh (Allari Naresh) and his wife (Hema) become the proud parents of a dynamic and powerful new baby who is born with a six pack body. The film is about Krishna (Ravi Teja) who was once a software engineer but quits his job to give it to his friend and is unemployed in the city of Vijayawada. Sandhya (Trisha Krishnan) is a girl from Hyderabad who studies in college and comes to Vijayawada for her vacation to stay with her elder brother Bobby (Brahmanandam) and his wife. Krishna follows Sandhya to Hyderabad and works his way into their house with the help of Bobby and finally both of them confess their love. There, Krishna knows the flashback of Sandhya and how she is being chased by the notorious and cruel Jagga (Mukul Dev) assisted by his uncle (Jaya Prakash Reddy) for marriage. Krishna fights Jagga, Sandhya's older brother kills Jagga, and Krishna marries Sandhya.
