Vikadan is a 2003 Indian Tamil thriller film written and directed by Arun Pandian. Playback singer Harish Raghavendra played the lead role, alongside Arun Pandian, Gayathri Raghuram, Radhika Chaudhari and Uma.
Synopsis
Rammohan (Harish Raghavendra), after five long years of saying 'no' to getting married, agrees to wed Gowri(Gayatri Raghuram) after seeing her picture. But he gets a shock on his wedding night when Gowri turns out to be the exact opposite of what he has imagined her to be. While he had thought she would be a traditional, homely girl, Gowri turns out to be an ultra-modern gal who even drinks. On the other hand, Kaveri(Uma), who Rammohan hires as his secretary at work, is the kind of woman he wished for as his wife. Meanwhile Rammohan rubs Selvakumar(Arun Pandiyan), the new policeman in town, the wrong way and Selvakumar itches for a chance to get back at him. The time comes when Rammohan gets into an accident.Acteurs

When the movie opens Devan(Arun Pandiyan) murdering photographer Jeeva(Thalaivasal Vijay) in cold blood in his house. Jeeva strategically positions a video camera to capture the impending murder but Devan never shows his face to it. And when Jeeva shouts out the name of his killer before dying, the audio is lost at that point. While the police search for the killer, Devan zeroes in on Chetta (Saikumar) as his next target. He follows Chetta to Chandigarh but is apprehended by CBI officer Ratnavel(Vijayakanth). But once Ratnavel realises Chetta's true nature, he begins to help Devan, even hiring successful lawyer Chakravarthy(Karthik) to fight for him.

Anbu (Prashanth) is a doctor & also a lovable brother of Thamizh (Uma) who are the son & daughter of Kasthuri (Saranya). Somasundaram (Radharavi), uncle of Anbu who takes care of his sister and her family. One day Anbu comes to know about his sister Thamizh’s love and arranges for the marriage. During wedding preparations unexpectedly Anbu’s mother dies out of shock. Hence Somasundaram calls Anbu’s father Sathyamurthy (Thiagarajan) who was separated from Kasthuri long years back. Anbu gets furious and argues with his uncle not to allow his heartless father to conduct the funeral and rituals. Sathyamurthy gets snubbed by his daughter and son on many occasions repeatedly, unperturbed by their ill-treatment’s, he stays quietly with his family bearing this agony. As story moves on Sathyamurthy feels sad and shares his story to Somasundaram. Somasundaram narrates the flash back to Anbu and Thamizh and make them to know about their father’s real story.

The film begins with murder of Swetha a college student which is considered as accident. The scene shifts to college. Anjali (Gayathri Raguram) & Jeeva (Vikramaditya Shukla) are college lovebirds. Maya (Sherin) has a crush on Jeeva. They along with their friends spend happy days in college. One day, Vinod is murdered by Naga which is witnessed by Anjali. But no one believes her. Subsequently two other friends are murdered by Naga. In the fear, Anjali reveals the past to Maya that during the school days how the six members ragged a village girl, Sarawathi (Divyadarshini) and she committed suicide of six, four are murdered. She thinks the murders are related to the incidents. In the turn of events, it is shown that Jeeva is the murderer. On the same night, Sharmi is murdered before Anjali by Naga. Later, it is revealed the actual murderer is Maya who is the sister of Sarawathi. Later, Jeeva saves Anjali and Maya is killed. The comedy track of the movie follows the theme of the Hollywood movie What Women Want.
