Gayathri was born to dance choreographers Raghuram and Girija Raghuram in 1984. Great grand daughter of K. Subramanian director and producer. Girija is the elder sister of another choreographer Kala. Gayathri got married to Deepak Chandrasekhar who is a software engineer working in United States of America in 2006. Later the couple filed for divorce in 2009. Her elder sister Suja is also a prominent dancer and actress.And now Gayathri is turning into a much wanted choreographer like her father the famed Raghuram master.

Karthik (Gautham Karthik) is a middle-class boy who works at an IT company, gifted with an extrasensory perception. He has a girlfriend, Priya (Priya Anand). Panda , Karthick and Sathish goes on a vacation to Goa to spend the gambling money. There Rande threatens Karthick to play Roulette in the Casino Royale ship. Initially Karthick hesitates but Rande threatens him by kidnapping Priya. Karthick accepts to play. By this incident Priya comes to know about Karthick's power.To train Karthick, Shreya (Taapsee Pannu) comes to help. Karthick plays the game and tricks Rande to take his place in gambling . The officials of the casino suspect Rande and arrest him . Karthick, with his money won in the gambling with Panda, Sathish and Priya, escape and go back home. Shreya helps Rande to escape from guards by the saying of Kumar. Rande traces Karthick and takes him to his place. There Karthick using his power to fight Rande's sidekicks and threatens Rande with his own gun. At that time a Rolls-Royce Phantom comes and is revealed that the unknown man Kumar is Kokki Kumar(Dhanush) and ask Karthik to play for him in Politics.

Arun (Vikram Prabhu) is a struggling theatre artiste. With the help of his friends, who are also struggling theatre artistes, he starts a website called UMT which helps men struggling in love to successfully unite with the woman of their dreams with the help of theaterics. One day, UMT gets a rich client in the form of Santhosh (Navdeep), the owner of a real estate company. Santhosh is in love with a singer Maya (Keerthy Suresh) and offers ₹1,00,00,000 if Arun and his friends can help him in winning Maya's heart. Arun has second thoughts over the offer because Maya is his ex-girlfriend. They had broken up due to a serious misunderstanding between them. Though he still has feelings for Maya, he reluctantly agrees to help Santhosh. However, he foils all the plans to bring Santhosh and Maya together. A frustrated Santhosh then directly proposes to Maya, but she rejects him as she has still not forgotten Arun.

Arun (Siddharth) and Parvathi (Amala Paul) give an interview about their love story. But they fight even before the interview gets over. Then the movie rewinds 5 months earlier. Arun meets Parvathi in a college canteen. Soon they become friends. Parvathi's mother, Saroja breaks up with her husband Akilan. Parvathi lives with her mother. As time progresses, they break up but the reason is not revealed. Arun's friend Vignesh tries to propose his junior Rashmi. But Rashmi addresses Vignesh as brother and she introduce her lover who is Vignesh's senior. Arun tries to recover from the break-up. Arun's friend calls him to a trip to Pondicherry to see his friend John.John's girlfriend Cathy starts friendly chat with Arun. Cathy wishes to help Arun and asks him why they broke up. Arun says that he doesn't have any reason and that is his problem. Since Cathy becomes friendly with Arun, Misunderstanding crops up between Cathy and John. Meanwhile Akilan approaches Prabhu for divorce. Prabhu who is Arun's father advice Akilan to reunite with Saroja after knowing that Akilan is Parvathi's Father. Akilan and Saroja unite in Parvathi's grandparents 80th marriage. Consequently, John realise that Arun and Cathy are just being friendly and he reunites with cathy. While Rashmi realise that her lover (vignesh's senior) is a playboy, she realises this and tells this to Vignesh and accepts his true love. At last, Parvathi and Arun reunite after a silly quarrel in the same canteen that they met earlier.

The film begins with murder of Swetha a college student which is considered as accident. The scene shifts to college. Anjali (Gayathri Raguram) & Jeeva (Vikramaditya Shukla) are college lovebirds. Maya (Sherin) has a crush on Jeeva. They along with their friends spend happy days in college. One day, Vinod is murdered by Naga which is witnessed by Anjali. But no one believes her. Subsequently two other friends are murdered by Naga. In the fear, Anjali reveals the past to Maya that during the school days how the six members ragged a village girl, Sarawathi (Divyadarshini) and she committed suicide of six, four are murdered. She thinks the murders are related to the incidents. In the turn of events, it is shown that Jeeva is the murderer. On the same night, Sharmi is murdered before Anjali by Naga. Later, it is revealed the actual murderer is Maya who is the sister of Sarawathi. Later, Jeeva saves Anjali and Maya is killed. The comedy track of the movie follows the theme of the Hollywood movie What Women Want.

Ramakrishnan (Prabhu Ganesan) has a suspicious-minded wife, Mythili (Abhirami), who thinks he is always having an affair with another woman, even though he is extremely faithful to her and wouldn't dream of betraying her in any way. Vishva (Livingston) has been married to a trusting Amudha (Vindhya) for several years. Seemingly unknown to Amudha, he has been having several affairs with numerous gorgeous women, but in the end she reveals that she knew all along and thought that he would change ("I want you to be my husband in all my births"). There is also Ramakrishnan's friend Thiru (Prabhu Deva) who falls accidentally in love with Susi (Gayatri Raguram). Ramakrishnan meets Tilotama (Monal) who is a call girl (She is set up by Vishva and he goes abroad). Mythili goes to her relatives house for two days, at which point Thilothama arrives to meet Ramakrishnan. Ramakrishnan considers sleeping with her but determines not to have the affair. But his wife, having forgotten something, comes back just in time to see her husband with Thilothama. Then some fun and twists come and they all get caught including Ramakrishnan. At the court Ramakrishnan's wife wants divorce. Ramakrishnan manages to convince his wife that he is true to her, and they live happily ever after. Thiru settles down as well, after Ramakrishnan discovers that his wife is pregnant.

On 1 January 2010, a sudden bomb blast occurs in London, killing several people. The scene shifts to the same place after exactly a year, where a blind man Kenny Thomas (Vikram) lays flowers on the memorial and mourns someone's death during the bomb blast. He is then given some secret details by a mysterious woman. Kenny then takes a taxi driven by Satyan (Santhanam) who is a comical Tamil guy. He drops Kenny at a place and waits for him to return. But Kenny actually goes inside to kill someone. He kills him and throws him down. Seeing the corpse, Satyan flees. During this entire scene, Kenny is shown to produce a sound from his mouth, to find his way, which is later shown as echolocation. Later Kenny is shown to play piano in a local church, and he is blind he has so many people who care for him. In the meantime, Kenny carries out two more murders, taking the same taxi driven by the innocent Satyan, following instructions from the mysterious woman.
