Who Will Love My Children? is a 1983 made for television biographical film based on the life of Lucile Fray. Lucile Fray was diagnosed with cancer in 1952 and wanted to find suitable homes for her ten children, since she felt her husband could not properly care for them. Prior to her death, she succeeded. The film was directed by John Erman, written by Michael Bortman, and starred Ann-Margret in her first television film. It was originally broadcast on American Broadcasting Company.

The same evening as its original broadcast, February 14, 1983, the children of Lucile Fray appeared on That's Incredible!, an ABC program.

Synopsis

Basé sur une histoire vraie de Lucile Fray, la femme d'un fermier de l'Iowa. Ann-Margret joue le rôle d'une mère mourante de dix enfants dont le dernier souhait est de trouver des familles aimantes pour ses enfants.

Phil Fuller (Tabori) is a 17-year-old high school student who lives in a small apartment with his young single mother. A mailman (Henry Jones) speaks about three stories of lives that were completely changed by letters not having come through the mail on time. The first includes Vincent (Martin Sheen), a former member of the army in the Vietnam war, whose wife Angie (Belinda Montgomery) works at a bar for a strict boss, Al (James McCallion). Vincent reveals to Angie that he has recently been fired and can not give her a big marriage, nor can he invest in a garage with his friend Jesse. Even though Angie tells him that she loves him nonetheless, Vincent robs Al in a desperate rage. He quickly becomes imprisoned, and Angie attempts to support him, but Vincent - ashamed - orders her not to visit him again. In prison, he has difficulty forgetting about his fiance. In a letter, Angie informs Vincent that she still stands by his side, and that she was fired from the job, and has since moved away to live near her new job.
