Synopsis

Zor is a film about how innocent people are targeted by mafia and politicians to turn them into terrorist for their benefits. Arjun (Sunny Deol) a Photographer is only a son of Police Commissioner (Anupam Kher) and happy with his Mother, younger sister and grandmother. He meets Aarti (Sushmita Sen) a low profile reporter in a small daily who wants to make name as a famous reporter and both fall in love. Both decides to marry but there is problem.

Kandivli-based Sachidanand Agnihotri is a honest school-teacher, who has always faced problems due to his honesty, first with Poornima School; then in a Government school, and now he has come forward to testify against the sexual assault and murder of a young woman from Worli. Sachidanand points an accusing finger at Nagesh, the son of prominent and influential Jaspal Rana. Sachidanand's family, which consists of his wife, Gayetri, and son, Vishal, attempt in vain to talk him out of testifying. The Police are forced to arrest Nagesh and hold him in a cell. Then the Police, headed by a corrupt Assistant Commissioner of Police, Kamble, attempt to intimidate Sachidanand and follow him everywhere on the pretext of protecting him. Sachidanand is literally driven out of his mind, and on the day of the testimony, Nagesh's lawyer, Ashok Pradhan, confuses him to such an extent that Sachidanand kills himself. Vishal, who is being held in prison for assaulting several policemen, breaks out, abducts Nagesh, and then kills Ashok Pradhan. When Kamble comes to Nagesh's rescue, Vishal kills both of them. He then hunts down Jaspal and eventually kills him. On the run from the Police, he recruits prominent advocate, Khurana, who defends him and gets him acquitted. After the acquittal, instead of thanking his lawyer, Vishal surprisingly kills him in open court.

Years ago, after the birth of Paramvir's younger brother Gajodhar, Paramvir's father, Dharam Singh (Dharmendra) had run away from home and took Gajodhar with him, due to difficulties with the family. Back in reality, a Canadian comes to visit Paramvir at his home, where he sees Dharam Singh's photo. The Canadian recognises Dharam as a thief who had robbed him when he went to tour in Banaras. Upon hearing this news, Paramvir's mother sends him to Banaras to find his father, and younger brother.

Suraj then raise to this occasion to put an end to the entire Oberoi's family and thus the blood shed continues.

In troubled Kashmir reside the Kaul family, consisting of Major Amrish, his wife Sudha, a son, Ajay, and a daughter. Shortly after his approval, Neha is abducted by terrorists headed by Juded Afghani, who demand the release of their accomplice Naved Rabhani, and in exchange of Neha, Ms. Anita Choudhary the daughter of India's Home Minister's Bhagwat Choudhary. Ajay must abduct Anita if he is to ever see Neha alive again, but amongst Anita's bodyguard is Major Amrish Kaul, who have now re-located to New Zealand. Ajay travels to New Zealand, and does abduct Anita, only to find out that he is nothing more than a pawn in the hands of terrorists, and Neha herself, who is not what she claims to be. She's also a terrorist. Then Ajay tries to set things right and he finally kills all the terrorist including Neha and saves Anita.
