Anoop Seelin (Kannada: ಅನೂಪ್ ಸೀಲಿನ್; born 24 October) is an Indian film music director and playback singer in the Kannada film industry. He has scored music for films such as Gooli, Eddelu Manjunatha, Preethse Preethse, Yaksha, I Am Sorry Mathe Banni Preethsona, Manasology, Sidlingu, Parari and Madarangi. He won the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Music Director for his work in Sidlingu.

Set against the backdrop of most happening the Koyambedu market, the film revolves around the lives of four young boys played by Kishore, Sree Raam, Pandi and Murugesh. They work as coolies, and earn their bread by working as lifters. They lift and transport vegetable stocks to various shops. One such shop is owned by Aachi, who treats the boys like her sons. The boys are carefree and do not worry about their future, and have fun by teasing and looking at schoolgirls who pass by. They befriend a girl named ATM, who assists them in finding a new friend, who turns out to be Aachi's daughter. They all become friends and hang out together. One day Aachi tells the boys that, they do not have an identity and how long will they live like this? She advices them to do something that will give them an identity and let them earn some respect. They decide to start a mess in the market, where so many people will have access. Aachi helps them to get an old godown from Naidu, a rich Dada, who controls the market. Naidu lets them have the place for free for now, and says will collect the rent later. The boys start the mess and it becomes an instant hit, earning them money and respect. The boys feel that they have now got an identity as the owners of Aachi mess.

Googly is a love story told using flashbacks. It revolves around Sharath (Yash), a commerce student, and Swathi (Kriti Kharbanda), a medical student. Sharath is a unusual character who is full of energy, where as Swathi is a simple girl. They meet at Sharath's collage in Bangalore where a forum is to be held. Before their love story begins, misunderstandings occur causing Swathi to leave for her hometown of Mysore. After 2 years, the are reunited when traveling to a friend wedding. The events that occur from then on form the rest of the story.

This film is about the life and times of a lazy and jobless middle aged man named Manjunatha ("Manja") who considers his life as an eventual existence rather than a practical, deserving and a capable one. His laziness is portrayed in the film as not a quality but as an ethic imbibed within his general thoughts and notions of the everyday world that surrounds him. Through his formative years his thinking becomes pragmatic in considering that livelihood can always be sought through alternate sources rather than being a puppet to how the world goes about through linear methods of gaining success and money. The other essentially important character in the film is a visually impaired person named Naani (played by Tabla Naani). Although being born blind, he wishes to be a film director. Naani's most positive aspect of the role is that he does not believe that his physical disability could stop him from achieving what he dreams, that is to be a film maker. The film is structured around the lengthy conversation, which happen in a captive lodge room, between Manja and Naani where each depict their ideologies and experiences and co-relate their thoughts. Being a Jaggesh film, the film is no where short in containing blatant satirical humour and constant metaphors. The characters of Manja and Naani form contrasting personalities - Manja being an unmotivated, lazy and irresponsible guy and Naani being optimistic and ambitious. Naani happens to meet Manja in a very interesting scenario. Even with their contrasting personalities, Manja and Naani get along together pretty well.

The central character Ghooli (Sudeep) is an uneducated, rude youngster and deadly mercy less cruel rowdy with whom a girl named Ramya (Mamta) accidentally falls in love by seeing his pure and unadulterated heart. Ramya continues to keep in touch with Ghooli despite opposition from her family and although Ghooli tries to keep Ramya at a distance, he finds he has also has fallen in love with her. They marry but separate shortly afterwards. Later Ghooli hears shocking news about the apparent death of Ramya, however she is not dead but in a mental asylum due to severe brain damage.
