Biographie
Jomon completed his diploma in cinematography from Government Film And Television Institute, Bangalore. He was active in the advertisement industry. Sameer Thahir cast him as the cinematographer in Chaappa Kurish (2011). The film was well noted for its realistic looking camera angles and frames. Jomon's second film Beautiful (2011) was very well acclaimed as well.In 2012 he handled cinematography of the film "Thattathin Marayathu" directed by "Vineeth Sreenivasan".The film was well noted for its beautiful shots and cinematography. The story is set in an engineering college, where Umesh (Nivin Pauly) is studying. Umesh is a carefree engineering student, who has 42 back papers to clear. His close pals are Shaji (Aju Varghese) and Thankaprasad (Neeraj Madhav). Wanting to find a quick way to earn money and fame, he decides to try his hand at movies, and wants to assist none other than the renowned South-Indian director Gautham Vasudev Menon. His friend Shaji suggests that he make a short film and upload it on the internet. But the result is utter failure, after losing the camera in an accident. Umesh’s father (Vijayraghavan) orders him to help him to run his small shop. To avoid such a bleak future, Umesh catches the next train to (Chennai). On the train, he sees Daisy (Manjima Mohan), his neighbour back home. Umesh tries to woo Daisy throughout the journey, but miserably fails. He lies to his friends that they are having an affair, tricks her into posing for a selfie with him, and sends it to Shaji.

The film begins when Vasudeva Shenoy (Anoop Menon), a police constable by profession, proposes to his colleague Lakshmi (Lena) with a strong objection from Vasudeva Shenoy's mother. In the meantime Kunjunni Menon (Santhosh Keezhattoor), a thief, who disguised as a police inspector, falls in love with Lakshmi. Kunjunni Menon then convinces Lakshmi and her family to agree to marriage. Lakshmi later comes to know that her husband had cheated her. Lakshmi and Kunjunni however pretend to have an amicable marriage as she gives birth to Adithyan (Dulquer Salmaan). On the same day Vikraman (Unni Mukundan) was also born to Vasudeva Shenoy and his new wife. Laksmi further gives birth to two daughters. Kunjunni gets caught by Shenoy after committing a theft and was dragged to the jeep in front of his son (Adityan). Adithyan becomes very depressed and refuses to accept his father. Kunjunni unable to face his son, commits suicide. Adityan (Dulquer Salmaan), Vikraman (Unni Mukundan) and Deepika Pai(Namitha Pramod) befriend each other as schoolmates and the story proceeds to their adulthood.

Hareendranath Nair (Prithviraj) is an Indian soldier guarding an Indian picket in Kashmir. He happens to meet a Pakistani soldier Mushraff (Javed Jaffrey) on one fine day. They immediately relate to each other and despite of being from different countries they seem to understand each other better than anyone else. They eventually become close friends and start to enhance the morale of each other. However, their friendship raises suspicions among others. They even put into question the genuineness of their patriotism which break their heart. They find themselves in nether world and the story proceeds to tell the hardship they have to go through for their friendship. Vinay Panicker (Vijay Babu) is the head of an advertising agency based in Mumbai. He is married to Nalini (Ann Augustine) and they have a son. Vijay asks for a transfer to Kochi and moves to Kochi to take over the Kochi branch. The story is set in Karnataka and Goa. Dr. Ravi Tharakan (Prithviraj) is a renowned cardiothoracic surgeon working in a private hospital. Ayalum Njanum Thammil begins with a traumatised girl being brought to the hospital. Ravi decides to operate the girl for free, but much against the wish of her father. The girl dies during the surgery. Her father and a few local politicians accuses Dr. Tharakan for the death and protests in the hospital. Ravi is forced to flee through the backdoor, followed by the girl's relatives. He has an accident on the way and goes missing without any traces. The girl's death gains media attention and the police starts a thorough search for Dr. Ravi. The hospital management clears their hand by sacking Dr. Ravi but the chairman's private secretary Diya (Rima Kallingal) expresses dissatisfaction over the hospital's decision and starts a search on her own. She is very much attached to Ravi who had once convinced her the importance of following the ethics in medical profession. She meets Dr. Vivek (Narain) who is a very close friend and a former classmate of Ravi.
