Vishal and Jyoti both spent their childhood in different manner from each other but they fall in love, and in spite of stiff oppositions from their parents they get married. Bewafai is a romantic film revolving mostly around a woman named Asha (Tina Munim) who has been in love with a man named Ashok Nath (Rajesh Khanna) since her childhood.
