Rajesh is a teacher. His wife Shila is killed while driving as she meets with an accident. After cremating her, Rajesh comes back home and is told by his maidservant who was very loyal to his wife that his wife had come home when he was away and she had just left before arriving. He is shocked to hear as he had himself cremated her and identified her by what she was wearing and by certain marks on her body. Soon after a look alike of Shila turns up at Rajesh's place and claims to be his wife. Rajesh refuses to believe her and informs the police about this imposter. She appears before Rajesh from time to time and he is highly disturbed. The police, who are also eager to solve the case, file a case against Shila. The public prosecutor appearing for the police and Rajesh is the father of Sumi, a student of Rajesh. The imposter turns out to Capt. Choudhury, a lady officer of the army, a friend of Shila who had taken her test to catch the actual murderer. The murderer turn out to be Sumi, Rajesh's student who had paid certain people to eliminate Shila as she loved Rajesh and the later commits suicide when she comes to know that Rajesh doesn’t love her.

The film revolves around two people. Lal is an ambitious guy who wants to start his own business and make it big in life. Das is a loudmouth, and a very arrogant person. The two manage to get hold of 5000 rupees and they open a vada pav centre. As luck would have it, Lal wins Rs. 2 lakhs in a contest. The duo plan to start a travel agency. Since they do not have enough money to buy a vehicle, they use spare parts of old cars to create a bus. Trusting Das to come up with a good make of a bus, he blindly hands over the prize money to him. Lal manages to get passengers for their first ride. But when the bus comes all hell breaks loose with people demanding their money back.

Amu is the journey of Kajori Roy (Konkona Sen Sharma), a 21-year-old Indian American woman who has lived in the US since the age of 3. After graduating from UCLA Kaju goes to India to visit her relatives. There she meets Kabir (Ankur Khanna), a college student from an upper-class family who is disdainful of Kaju’s wide-eyed wonder at discovering the "real India". Undeterred, Kaju visits the slums, crowded markets and roadside cafes of Delhi. In one slum she is struck by an odd feeling of déjà vu. Soon after she starts having nightmares. Kabir gets drawn into the mystery of why this is happening, particularly when he discovers that she is adopted.

Ajay Bakshi, journaliste vedette au style peu orthodoxe et à l'ego surdimensionné, use de tous les moyens pour contrer Ria Banerjee, son alter ego et rivale d'une chaîne concurrente. Loin de ce monde clinquant où la seule chose qui vaille est la course au scoop, un homme d'affaires est assassiné à la veille des élections et des troubles inter communautaires éclatent dans le pays. Le meurtrier, Mohan Joshi, est arrêté sur le champ, mais réussit à s'enfuir. Il est immédiatement accusé de terrorisme. Mohan Joshi contacte Ajay et Ria auxquels il dévoile les motivations de son geste : sa fille est morte des suites d'un viol perpétré par l'homme que, fou de douleur, il vient d'assassiner. Les deux journalistes font taire leur antagonisme et luttent ensemble pour faire éclater la vérité malgré l'opposition de leurs rédactions, les menaces des politiciens corrompus et les intimidations de la mafia.

Arjun decides to seek vengeance against the goons. and with some toil and foil he eventually outsmarts them.

Raj Malhotra (Raju) (Govinda), a detective, goes on a European trip to help his friend Sanjay Khanna (Nirmal Pandey) prove that his wife is having an extramarital affair. They stop living in the same house and believe their spouse has gone to Europe with their boyfriend/girlfriend. Anjali sends her friend (Rani Mukerji), who shares the same name, on this trip to get information regarding her husband. In a mix-up of different identities, Raju and Anjali fall in love but get into a fight because they think they are married already with someone else. Then their tour finishes. Then Anjali decided to marry the fbi officer he met in the beginning. Raj finds out she is not married and goes to stop his marriage. Anjali does not want to listen to raj. Then raj marries her by tricking. Then he goes to the airport. Then her friend and her husband come and tell her how Raj is not married. Anjali tells them how raj married her. Anjali runs to the airport to stop Raj. At the end they are together.

Purushottam Agarwal shifts to London for better standard of living. He wants his grand daughter Nikki to respect Indian culture and marry an Indian man. Initially, Nikki rejects because she is already in love with Rohit. But, pressurized by her grandfather's stubborn attitude, she plans to move to India. In India, she meets Rommie a tourist guide. Here, she makes a plan to fool her grandfather by faking her marriage to Rommie. Then she plans to allow Rommie to act as a villainous person in front of Purushottam so that he changes his views about Indian grooms. She presents Rommie as a wealthy man in front of Purushottam. Nikki and Rommie, both initially hate each other. As per the plan, Rommie makes every attempt to act negative but destiny does not seem to support him. Every attempt takes him closer to Purushottam's heart.
