Synopsis
Vinayan comes from a rich family but he cannot stand up for modern lifestyle. His brother spends time dancing at clubs, his sister always listens to the radio, and his parents are always busy. He gets tired of life in the city and moves to a village taking a small job as a village officer. There he falls in love with a village girl but she is just the opposite of Vinayan and she wants to enjoy the luxurious life in a city. Soon they part. Vinayan continues in the village while his wife moves to the city. After a while she understands that her village life was far better and returns to her own village and the couple unites.Acteurs

Revathi's (Lizy) parents separated when she was young; she was raised by her mother who taught her that her father (Bharath Gopi) was a bad man. Years later, while on his deathbed, her father makes a last wish to see his daughter. Revathi refuses to go, so her orphan friend Susanna (Radha) goes in her place to fulfill his wish. Revathi's father is very happy to be with Susanna, thinking she is Revathy but Susanna dies. Finally Revathy returns home after the death of Susanna, but her visit fails to move a grief-stricken father.

Kumaran (Thilakan) is a social worker. Captain Vijay (Mohanlal) is an army captain who is on his annual leave and has come to stay with his maternal uncle who raised him and his sister after the untimely death of their parents. Story revolves around two friends Narayanan Kutty (Mohanlal) and Balan (Shankar Panicker). Working as a mechanic at K&K Automobiles in Chennai, Narayanan Kutty is always lusty towards girls. Though he has never been successful in wooing any girl, Narayan Kutty finds fun in boasting about his encounters with rich girls in and around the city. Manoharan (Jagathy Sreekumar), the proprietor of K&K Automobiles always falls in deep trouble because of the careless attitude of Narayan Kutty at work place. Balan a close buddy of Mala imposters himself as Mala and contacts Narayanan Kutty. Kutty, who has never seen Mala, starts believing Balan to be original Mala. But as part of a plan to fool him, Mala approaches him as Sujatha, a news reporter to interview him about his relationship with the daughter of M.N Nambiar. In short time, Narayanan Kutty falls in love with Mala, whom he mistakes to be Sujatha (Lizy Priyadarshan). Things get much complicated for him as she also reciprocates in the same manner. On the other hand, the life of Balan was going too smoothly until the parents of his fiancée arrives in the city along with her to see his office. Balan, who is actually an attender at the office had lied to them that he is a manager of the company. To add more trouble, M.N Nambiar decides to marry again, which his daughter objects vehemently, inviting more clashes. How Balan and Narayanan Kutty solve out the troubles and loose the knots that they created, forms the rest of the story.
