Synopsis
Suman and Vijay Rai are two virtually inseparable school-going children. Both are heart-broken when Suman's dad decides to move out to a new location, both have tattooed a heart on their arms and hope to remember each other for the rest of their lives. Years later, they unknowingly meet each other, and this time Suman is married to Vijay's brother, Prakash, while Vijay is married to a rich and wealthy U.S. returned woman named Rita. Unfortunately, Prakash and Suman meet with an accident shortly after their marriage, but both recover. But Vijay's marriage with Rita is on the rocks due to incompatibility, with Rita moving out of Vijay's life. It is then Advocate Suresh, Suman's brother, comes across evidence that leads him to conclude that the couple was swapped by unknown person(s).Acteurs

"Chhuppa Rustam" is an action and suspense film with Sanjay Kapoor in a double role. One Sanjay (Nirmal) is an industrialist and the other (Raja) is a small time thief. The thief is in love with Manisha Koirala (Nisha) while the other Sanjay is in love with Mamta Kulkarni (Sandhia). Industrialist Sanjay's father is dead and he runs a huge tea plantation. Raj Babbar, the Commissioner of Police, notices the two Sanjay's and plans to place the thief at the industrialist's house and sell the property and take the money. The industrialist Sanjay finds out that his father was murdered. He sets out to look for the killer. The killer sets a trap for him. In the meantime, the thief takes his place. One Sanjay is killed and the other claims to be the industrialist. Which Sanjay survives is the mystery which is revealed in the end.

In order to settle personal scores; two gang leaders, Jai Singh and Oberoi fight for many years in gang-wars. There enmity multiplies when Jai's younger brother, Suraj falls in love with Oberoi's sister, Sapna which forces Suraj and Sapna to elope. Jai then locates the duo and brings them back to try and convince Oberoi to get them marry albeit successful. Khushi (Rani Mukerji) est une jeune femme rêveuse qui partage tous ses secrets avec son singe en peluche. Elle est également sans scrupule car elle ment à son patron pour ne pas aller travailler. Celui-ci noie sa peine dans l’alcool et confie à Khushi que sa bien-aimée Pooja (Sonali Bendre) a refusé de vivre dans la maison qu’il avait bâtie pour abriter leur amour sur les hauteurs de Shimla. Cette nouvelle tombe à point pour Khushi qui n’a plus de toit ; elle décide donc de partir à la recherche de la maison inhabitée et d’y établir refuge ! Pour tout indice, elle a une serviette en papier sur laquelle Ranbir a dessiné la maison en question.
