Sabash Sariyana Potti (English: Bravo, an excellent competition) is a 2011 India Tamil comedy film directed by television actor Venu Arvind which marked his directorial debut. It was produced by V. R. Raghunathan. The film stars Jayaram, Sriranjini, Delhi Ganesh and Mayilsamy in lead roles. The film had musical score by S. Thaman. The film received negative reviews. The movie dubbed to malayalam named as "Kochi to Kodambakkam" on 2012.

Thenali Soman (Kamal Hassan) is a man who fears anything and everything. Dr. Panchabhootham (Delhi Ganesh) and his assistant (Ramesh Khanna), who are the doctors treating Thenali, are jealous of a relatively junior doctor Dr. Kailash (Jayaram) getting all the media attention. They decide to derail Dr. Kailash's success by sending Thenali over to him. Soon after their first appointment, Dr. Kailash heads to his home in Kodaikanal on a vacation with his wife Jalaja (Devayani) and his two children. Dr. Kailash tells Thenali to wait until after the vacation before his therapy can begin, but Panchabhootham asks for Thenali to go meet Kailash while on vacation.

The threesome who lend reason to the title are Aravindan (Jayaram), Chandu (Mukesh) and Joy (Sreenivasan). They value friendship over everything else, even family, and for this reason, Chandu resists the advances of Aravindan's sister Uma (Divya Unni). When the trio take up a painter's job at a mansion, Aravindan falls in love with Padmini (Meena), who lives there and Padmini's jealous cousin makes him believe that his overtures are reciprocated. When the truth is revealed and Padmini rejects him outright, Chandu stands up for his friend and speaks ill of her. This makes her swear to separate the friends.

Jiya, daughter of James and Lisa and grand daughter of Mrs. Koshi, who enjoyed her teenage like a 'white feather' (Vellathooval). She is very conservative and have her own views. Kunchacko Boban, Jayasurya, Meera Jasmine, Soorya (Kunchacko Boban) come from entirely different backgrounds, but one thing that they have in common is cancer. Vidyalakshmi (Mamta Mohandas), scion of a rich Hindu aristocratic family gets married to Shanavas (Asif Ali), a Muslim, against the diktats of both the families. Though, happily married, life is not a smooth ride for them. Few years passed by and the couple now has a daughter Laya, who is now in nursery. Despite strong financial troubles, Shanavas does his best to take care of his family. One rainy night, on his way to purchase mangoes for his daughter, Shanavas is killed by a group of goon, mistaking him to be someone else. Having nowhere to go, Vidyalakshmi is trying her best to take care of her daughter. But, the financial troubles forces her to cut down the daily expenses, including the school bus for her daughter. Within short time, she is asked to vacate the house, as there has been a long delay in payment of rent. Vidyalakshmi, with nowhere to go, decides to sleep on railway platform with her daughter. One fine morning, she catches an auto to drop her kid at school. Preman (Jayaram), the auto driver is a talkative and simple chap, with a sense of humor. But after travelling, she gets out of the auto and escapes without paying the cash. The next day, Preman finds her at railway station, and on demanding the auto fare, she explains her story to him, which makes him feel sympathetic to her. He brings Vidyalakshmi and her daughter to his colony. Vidyalakshmi, within short time captures the hearts of the people around. When Preman comes to know that she was doing her MBBS when got married and had to give up studies after that, he makes her to appear of final year exam. With the support of the colony residents, Vidyalakshmi appears of MBBS examination and becomes a doctor. Her daughter, one day comes in contact with the mother of Shanavas, who wants now her grand daughter to be brought to home. But Vidyalakshmi politely refuses it. The elder brother of Shanavas threatens her with the support of a Moulavi, but Preman intervenes and force them to go back. With the help of her friend, Vidhyalakkshmi gets a job in Kuwait and though not willing, she had to accept it. She leaves to Kuwait with her daughter, promising to come back soon. Preman is seen waiting at beach, looking for the next news from Vidyalakshmi.
