Sri Lokanath (1960) is an Odia film directed by Prafulla Sengupta, and based on the story by Aswini Kumar Ghosh. The Indian socio-fantasy film won a National Film Award in 1960, and was the 11th Odia film produced under Ruprang Pvt. Ltd.
Synopsis
Dr. Ajay Patanayak, a doctor by profession doesn't believe in the existing of God. His wife Basanti having no child has immense faith in God. she is also deeply attached to his brother in law Bijay. Laxmi, a neighbor has love interest with Bijay. Bijay visits Puri's Sri Lokanath Temple for blessing with a hope to his sister in law gets a son. Basanti becomes pregnant and delivers a son. The happy family named the child as "Lokanath" after the deity. As Lokanath grows up, bijay feels neglected by the family and leaves the house. Bijay becomes a tutor in Jaipur. In the meanwhile his love interest Laxmi marries to a Zamindar named Surya of Puri.Acteurs

Rashbihari Samantrai is a landlord and has two sons Anu and Arup. Anu is an industrialist and plans to start an industry in "Sundari Tota", a place owned by his father and inhabited by rural folks. But Rashbihari promises to donate the "Sundari Tota" to his religious guru for building an Ashram. The villagers requested Rashbihari not evacuate them form "Sundari Tota" as they are leaving in this place since years. But the second son Arup, who has a love interest with one of the village girl Jhili, the habitat of the place revolt back with his father against the decision to donate the land to his religious guru. Sania (Prashant Nanda) lives with his ailing mother and friend Makara in village. They are fisherman by profession. One day they find a girls named Manika (Mahasweta Roy) in the river and rescues her. Sania brings the girls to his home and they look after the girl. After Manika gets well Sania & Makara decides to return Manika to their parents. When they reaches Manika's village, Manika/s parents refuses to return her back as she lives with the lower cast people for some days. As no other way out, Sania takes Manika to his home. Manika falls in love with Sania. But Sania's heart doesn't allow him to accept the Manka's offer as Manika belongs to a higher caste. Sania, in the meantime tries to find out suitable match for Manika and finds a docter, who comes to the village for the treatment for plague diseases as the village effected by plague. The doctor agrees to marry Manika and leaves the town to get his family's approval. But days passes away, the doctor doesn't return. All the villagers in the village complains of Sania and Manika leaving together. Manika doesn't bear all the blames made by the villager and vanishes. Sanu can not control himself and become insane.

Les rescapés du commando britannique qui a réussi à détruire les canons de Navarone s'en sont sortis malgré la présence d'un traitre parmi eux. Ils croyaient celui-ci exécuté mais, il semblerait qu'il soit toujours vivant. C'est en réalité un espion allemand qui continuerait de sévir en Yougoslavie occupée au milieu des Partisans. Mallory et Miller étant les seuls à pouvoir l'identifier, ils sont à nouveau envoyés avec une unité américaine appelée Ouragan (Force 10), conduite par le colonel Barnsby, lequel n'est pas très favorable à leur présence. Chacun des chefs d'équipe, Barnsby et Mallory, ignore la véritable mission de l'autre. Leur avion est touché, et, à l'atterrissage, le commando est dispersé et décimé. Les survivants sont recueillis par des soi-disant Partisans, qui s'avèrent être en réalité des Tchetniks alliés aux Allemands. Prisonniers, ils doivent alors convaincre les Allemands qu'ils ne sont pas des espions, pour ne pas être fusillés.

In order to improve their lifestyle, village near Badaun, based Ghulam Hasan (Farooq Shaikh) decides to re-locate to Bombay, on the insistence of his close friend Lalulal Tiwari (Jalal Agha). He leaves behind his ailing mother and wife (Smita Patil). Lalulal helps him get a job cleaning taxis. Ghulam subsequently learns how to drive, and is hired to drive a taxi. In spite of his best efforts, he is unable to save enough money to visit Lucknow.
