Ada... A Way of Life is a 2010 Hindi musical film written and directed by Tanvir Ahmad, with music by A. R. Rahman. Rahman composed the songs for Ada in 2001, after completing the score for Lagaan, but Ahmad's plans for the film were shelved. Though the music was composed for the original concept, the film features a new script as well as different actors, as it stars debuting actor Ayaan Ahmed, the director's son. Along with its notable composer, the soundtrack also features award-winning singer Jayachandran, contributing vocals for the first time to a Hindi language film.

The soundtrack was released on 20 May 2008. The film was scheduled to be released on 31 December 2009 but released a year later on 24 December 2010.

Synopsis

The director, Tanvir Ahmed, describes this film as "a tale of a noble father, a religious mother and a gangster son in Mumbai City".

Rahul Roy et Anu Verghese se rencontrent dans un poste de police. Dès lors, sa vie change complètement, elle gagne énormément d’argent, habite un luxueux appartement… Rahul veut l’épouser mais il doit d’abord trouver une situation. Fort heureusement, il est remarqué par un producteur de disques qui lui offre d’enregistrer son premier album. À présent, le mariage devient possible, mais les employeurs d’Anu instillent le doute dans l’esprit de Rahul en lui faisant croire qu’il ne doit son succès qu’à l’aide de son amie. Profondément blessé dans son amour propre, il se brouille avec Anu qui décide alors de poursuivre sa carrière de mannequin à Paris, loin de celui qu’elle aime mais qu’elle ne reconnaît plus.

After completing his studies in London, Shakti Thakur (Anil Kapoor) returns to the small Indian town where his family resides. Accompanying him is his girlfriend, Anita (Pooja Batra), whom he is in love with and wants to marry, much to the disapproval of his family. Paradise Builders is owned by Dhanraj, who lives a very wealthy lifestyle with his wife, Radha; son, Rajan; and daughter, Anjali.
