Ce film a été particulièrement apprécié pour sa musique et a lancé les carrières des chanteurs Kumar Sanu et Anuradha Paudwal ainsi que du duo de compositeurs Nadeem-Shravan. Dans les cinémas, le public se pressait pour écouter les chansons et c'est d’ailleurs l’un des nombreux films de Bollywood à avoir remporté plus de succès pour sa musique que pour sa réalisation qui a été critiquée, tant pour les faiblesses de son scénario, de sa mise en scène que de sa direction d'acteur.
Synopsis
Rahul Roy et Anu Verghese se rencontrent dans un poste de police. Alors que Rahul a endommagé la voiture de son père auquel il reproche d'avoir divorcé de sa mère pour se remarier, Anu s’est échappée du pensionnat où elle se sent prisonnière. Ils se revoient et tombent amoureux. Rahul aide Anu, demandant à Master, son confident et ami, de devenir le tuteur d'Anu qui peut ainsi quitter définitivement le pensionnat, être remarquée par un agent et devenir mannequin. Dès lors, sa vie change complètement, elle gagne énormément d’argent, habite un luxueux appartement… Rahul veut l’épouser mais il doit d’abord trouver une situation. Fort heureusement, il est remarqué par un producteur de disques qui lui offre d’enregistrer son premier album. À présent, le mariage devient possible, mais les employeurs d’Anu instillent le doute dans l’esprit de Rahul en lui faisant croire qu’il ne doit son succès qu’à l’aide de son amie. Profondément blessé dans son amour propre, il se brouille avec Anu qui décide alors de poursuivre sa carrière de mannequin à Paris, loin de celui qu’elle aime mais qu’elle ne reconnaît plus.Acteurs

Raj Solanki (Naseeruddin Shah) règne sur la pègre de Mumbai. Il doit faire face à l'incompétence de son fils Deepak (Deepak Tijori), manipulé par un autre gangster, David (Gulshan Grover), qui voudrait le renverser, ainsi qu'à l'arrivée d'un nouvel inspecteur de police particulièrement déterminé, Jai Bakshi (Ajay Devgan). Or ce dernier est son fils illégitime. Jai, qui l'ignore, tente de mettre fin aux activités de Solanki, avec l'aide de Sandhya (Juhi Chawla), une inspectrice dont il est amoureux. Solanki ne souhaite pas affronter Jai, et lorsque ses deux fils entrent en conflit prend son parti et lui sauve la vie. Jai découvre que Solanki est son père, mais ne renonce pas pour autant à l'affronter. Solanki accepte alors de se rendre à la police. Mais Deepak et David prennent la mère de Jai en otage. Jai, Sandhya et Solanki parviennent à la libérer, mais Solanki, après avoir révélé à Deepak sa relation de parenté avec Jai, meurt en sauvant ses deux fils désormais réconciliés.

The year is 1975, the place is Mahim, Bombay. This is the story of Tikku (Paresh Rawal), a eunuch, the only child of yesteryear Bollywood actress Nazneen Begum. She has fallen upon hard times, is virtually destitute and is dependent on Tikku, who does make-up/hair-dressing of Bollywood actresses. When she passes away, Tikku is beside himself with grief. En enquêtant sur la disparition de Sunny, la police découvre que ce dernier entretenait une liaison avec une femme mariée, Simran. Alcoholic movie director, Rahul (Rahul Roy) ends up in a Rehabilitation Centre. Once there, he finds out that there is an inmate, Pooja (Pooja Bhatt), who is schizophrenic and has deep ranging mental problems. After an initial clash of personalities, the two become fast friends, and find that they are in love with each other. But Pooja's paranoia and instability makes any relationship impossible, and as a result she is hospitalized in a mental institution. Shortly thereafter there is a fire at the institution, and Pooja is killed in it. Rahul is devastated by Pooja's death, and is unable to take her off of his mind. One of his movie actresses, Seema (Pooja Bedi), and his brother Rohit, attempt to divert his mind, without much success. Then Rahul starts getting phone calls from a girl whose voice resembles Pooja's. Near the end it is found out that Pooja is alive, and she was the one who had burned down the mental institution because "she didn't like it there". Rahul and Pooja run away from the cops and Pooja's dad who wants her back in mental hospital is trying to trace her. They roam the jungle and change places but they are caught by the police in a town and at the climax Pooja snatches a gun from a police officer and shoots herself saying she doesn't want to go back to the mental hospital, she wants to be with Rahul. Her grandfather and Rahul helplessly watch her die.

À la suite du décès de sa sœur et de son beau-frère, Rahul Malhotra (Aamir Khan) prend la direction de l'entreprise familiale et a également la charge de ses deux neveux et de sa nièce : Sunny (Kunal Khemu), Munni (Baby Ashrafa) et Vicky (Sharokh Irani). N'ayant nul endroit où dormir, les trois enfants la ramènent à leur maison et décident de cacher son existence à leur oncle. Or, un jour Rahul découvre leur secret. Remis de sa surprise, il engage Vaiyjanti comme baby-sitter. Tout le monde découvre la vie à cinq, les enfants s'entendent à merveille avec Vaiyjanti et cette dernière et Rahul tombent amoureux. Mais Maya (Navneet Nishan), fille de M. Bijlani (Dalip Tahil) envers lequel la société de Rahul est endettée, aime également Rahul et demande à son père de tout mettre en œuvre pour qu'il l'épouse.

Paradise Builders is owned by Dhanraj, who lives a very wealthy lifestyle with his wife, Radha; son, Rajan; and daughter, Anjali. His aim to take possession of the nearby village, which is now occupied by fishermen, headed by Shankar Rao, who lives there with his wife and two sons, Amar and Arun. Dhanraj's attempts to take possession prove to be in vain. Then the inevitable happens when Amar and Anjali meet and fall in love with each other, much to the chagrin of both Shankar and Dhanraj. While Shankar wants Amar to continue to follow his profession, Dhanraj wants Anjali to wed U.S.-based Shekhar Gupta, the son of the owner of Gupta Investments. Push leads to shove, and Dhanraj asks Rajan to set fire to the village. As a result, Rajan and Arun get killed. Junoon tells the story of Vikram (Rahul Roy), who goes on a hunting trip with his friend Araun into the forest on a full moon night. While in the forest, Vikram is warned by a tribesman named Bheema (Mushtaq Khan), who tries to persuade him to go back home, stating that the night of the full moon is the tiger's night to hunt. Vikram laughs it off and decided to go after the tiger not believing that this tiger is the cursed tiger. Arun finds something fishy and asks Vikram to go back. Suddenly it starts raining and the duo had to find a place to stay. Some strange voices were heard by the duo and they find the voices were coming from a den but as the duo have to find a place to stay in they decided to enter the den. Within the den Arun discovers writings on the walls in Sanskrit. These writings describe the tale of a king who could not have a child. One day a tantric told him if he caught a pair of tigers who were in love, and on a full moon night, to kill one tiger and drink his blood, thereby allowing the king to have a child. The king did everything he was told, but when he killed one tiger, the surviving mate cursed him. The curse transformed the king into a tiger each full moon night and he hunted man. The curse also entailed that anybody who killed the king when he was in the tiger's form would in turn get cursed and so the curse would carry on forever. Vikram berates his friend for believing an age-old myth and they are then attacked by the cursed tiger. Vikram tries to shoot the tiger but he missed the shot and Arun is killed on the spot by the tiger and Vikram became very scared. The shot fired by Vikram hits the fire lamp and a chain of fire was built in the den, the tiger hides due to this but the tiger roars from somewhere. Vikram was unable to find the tiger. Scared Vikram fired shots everywhere in the den with the hope that the tiger will run away but the tiger attacks Vikram and Vikram fell in the ring of fire. The tiger did not again attack Vikram as tigers are afraid of fire and tiger makes a disappearing act.
